I stay at Riverton a few times per month and must say it’s an excellent family owned hotel with that little extra. Highly recommended!

Great hotel with views over Goteborg waterfront, close to trams, buses and ferries. Excellent breakfast, good restaurant and bar on the 12th floor. Very comfortable room with plenty of space. Only bugbear was the lack of decaff coffee. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Did not feel welcomed as used Hotels.com for booking they do not give you acess ti gym and place you on bottom floor.
Feeling is that you are threaded as a second class guest.

Very nice hotel for the price, great view, walking distance to Haga, Hop On off, main attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean and spacious rooms. I would stay here again.

Superior Twin Room smaller than expected, designer glass basin in bathroom had no plug (wasteful of water), shower leaked.
Hotel well located for exploring city on foot, public transport nearby. Staff all friendly and helpful, particularly Reception. Good breakfast in spacious area.

God service, hyggelig personale...god seng, vi hadde noen gode avslappende timer i spa avdelingen ( kunne vært litt billigere for hotellets gjester ?).

Overall the hotel is fabulous. Spotlessly clean with beautiful furnishings and decor. Wonderful varied breakfast. My only gripe is the pokey shower with a plastic shower curtain in a pokey bathroom. A glass basin at lower belly height just inside the bathroom door for me is a NO NO. Otherwise the room was great.A £20 taxi ride from the station or a 25 minute walk.

A truly nice hotel to stay when in Gothenburg. As other guests have noted the breakfast was very good indeed also including juice that was not from concentrat.
Riverton is fairly new but the provided room was a bit worn down plus some quality checks between guests had been omitted.
All in all Riverton in Gothenburg is very recommendable but with room for improvement.

Rooms were of a good standard; very friendly staff; the breakfast was very good. We finished each day at the Riverton View Skybar & Restaurant; excellent views and a good selection of drinks. The hotel is well located, with many restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. There is inside parking available (need to book & pay in advance). Would recommend this hotel happily.

Second time I was in this hotel and this experinece eas so bad compared to the first one.
My room was misaing a showerr door, clothing hook fell off the wal, huge draft from window and one of the lights didnt go off in any way.
Staff was rude, maybe becayse of ny looks. I had rastahair and it seemwb to affect. When I had my hood on they were nicer.

Very comfortable & convenient for a city break. If I was to nit pick we found the bathroom a little small and missed not having a usb port. Lovely included breakfast and great views from the sky bar. With so much going on in Gothenburg I unfortunately missed trying out their spa.

I stayed one night in room 319. Hotel and breakfast is nice and staff is friendly. Only problem was room 319 which had bad WiFi connection. And the room is situated just above the loading area so you get a wake-up call at 06.00 when the morning delivery comes.

Very comfy hotel, room are well set up (dryer, iron, TV, minibar, complimentary food). Bed was comfortable with a set of pillows of various softness, super comfortable and appreciatable.

A fine hotel in a good location. Well equipped and elegant with a nice breakfast. My only complaint is that the wifi is weak in rooms at the end of the hall and in some of the rooms the view out the window is basically looking at a wall. So request a room looking out and closer to the center.

The hotel is well located for restaurants and shopping. The rooftop bar has lovely views over the water. The breakfast was excellent. However the standard rooms lack natural light as the windows overlook a sidestreet behind the hotel. The pictures on hotels.com for each type of room are misleading.

I stayed at this hotel twice. Locationwise very good.
1. Pillows could be better.
2. Timing for the breakfast not in favour of people who shall have their breakfast early and go to their job.quality for the breakfast was good though.
3. Bathroom was a mix of high quality and law quality fittings.
4. The hotel tries to make money out of anything. One need to pay to enter the gym.
5. In my first week of stay, I had room 306. There were small flies in the room.

The Hotel has really nice pictures uploaded wich was for me one of the Main reasons for Booking it. Actually the rooms are Quite old and Not looking like the pictures. Also the Pool could Not be used as a guest if you are Not willing to pay round about 30€ per day extra. This Information can barley be seen when booking and is in my opinion Not a Good Service
