An excellent place in great condition with a charmingly retro look from the 1970s. I was warmly greeted at the front desk by Youssef, which set the tone for a fantastic three night stay.
The breakfast was pretty good too.

The breakfast was very apetizing and well laid out.
All staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful.
The only down side was the bus timetables were out of date had 2024 dates on. So wee incorrect. Also some conflicting info from staff. The airport shuttle bus DOES run on a sunday as there are flights on a sunday. Taxi of over 100€ was a ridiculous suggestion.
Instead taxi 15€ to bus station. Shuttle to airport 10€ (35€ in total)

Despite being much further from the main town, we are happy with the choice. Catching a bus is a much better option as parking is impossible.
There is a shopping area directly opposite with reasonably priced meal/bar options.
The hotel has an excellent pool area right on the ocean and a promenade to the marina.

our trip was for two days just to unwind and we found this hotel was just right for our visit

The hotel is a hop skip and a jump to the beach and close to the bus line that takes you up and down the beach strip.
More importantly was the wonderful front desk personnel George who was simply incredible. May all your plans come to fruition George!

My wife and I stayed at Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel May 22 - May 25. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. We would especially like to note the friendliness of the hotel staff. We would especially like to note Olga’s work at the reception. She helped us a lot in organizing excursions.
The weather was beautiful at this time of year. The sea water was a little cold, about 20 degrees.
The hotel room had a small balcony. Overall not bad. But the bathroom is very small and smells like sewage. Very unpleasant. The restaurant, patio and pool are wonderful. The food is also good.

Staff & hotel generally excellent. Only let down but dust bunnies under youngest’s campbed which is easily fixable. Wouldn’t stay there peak season as it would be noisy but for the dates we stayed (early April) it was brilliant.

My husband and I stayed at the Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel for three nights. We came to Limassol with friends to run the 10K and to visit nearby sites. The room was comfortable and quiet. The buffet breakfast was especially impressive; the variety of items was more extensive and generous than we have ever seen (and we travel quite a lot). The staff was also extremely accommodating to us on the day of the run. By the time we returned to the hotel, the breakfast hours had concluded, but they went to the trouble of making us fresh-squeezed orange juice and an omelet. We were SO grateful. Thank you!

Good value for money hotel. Nice and clean. Decent food for breakfast. Staff were all friendly, attentive and polite. The hotel decor was a little dated, but it's a good location to walk around Limossol (including the old town). Not much of an ocean view from the balcony.

The lobby and location are pleasant.
My room was a 'Superior' room and it was VERY tired and grubby.
I have never experienced a bed so hard in my life. Maybe if I'd been in priso I wouldn't be able to say that. The bed was so hard that during my first night of 3, I moved from the bed to the settee around 3:00am and slept on that for the remainder of the stay. When I asked, I was told all beds are the same.
The bathroom was small with mouldy grout and dirty cornes around the bath. I will NEVER stay here again and I have no idea why i can achieve a rating of 8/10 on Hotels.com
The only bright part for me was the lovely staff in the hotel.

Standard Room - The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the shower was disgusting and rusted, the bed sheets were stained, the towels were stained, the floor felt greasy, the mirror was dirty overall disappointing.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff were very friendly and food was good. We had full board and it was worth it. Breakfast was ok, lunch was good and dinner was excellent. It’s a shame that you have to pay for the water, it would’ve been nice if it was included when having a meal.

We stayed for 1 night with my familiy and it was very comfortable for us. Very safe for the children and enjoyed with the child’s pool. The beach is just walking distance crossing the road. Very delicious dinner and breakfast served. So I really recommend for the familiy stay. Thanks for helpful staff as well.

Property was kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast had plenty of options available. Good amenities. Room had everything i need. Just back from the beach so view is limited but road noise is greatly reduced.

Very pleasant good location good service the only problem is that people are smoking on the terrace and you can fill it everywhere I was very surprised that the hotel was mixed non smoking and smoking people!

Good for a quick stop if you’re in the city for other reasons - the location is excellent and the parking is super convenient.
However the decor and rooms feel like the 1970s. There is also a very strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel - likely because it’s not been refurbished since smoking indoors was banned. All in all - pleasant but really would not stay here again.
