This is an older property which has been somewhat refurbished. The free breakfast was good. The Wi-Fi is very unreliable. Overall, service was good. I will probably stay here again.

What I loved about this hotel is it's location and service. It's located at a high altitude region with amazing views of the town below. Service was excellent. Hotel staff was friendly and answered your calls promptly. The food was pretty decent though dinner could be better with more variety. Gardens are well maintained and beautiful. The bar is quite expensive. Also, there were very few options to chose from. But the ambience and service was pretty good. But there were a few niggles as well. When I checked in there were no towels in the room. There were no tooth brush kits provided either. Had to call the house keeping for these items. Also, there was no wifi. Nevertheless the overall experience was just fantastic!.

Poor housekeeping and maintenance. Electrical fittings were unsafe, unclean beds and coffee maker, muddy water in bathroom. Maintenance and housekeeping required repeated reminders for service........................

Everything was perfect such as the location of the hotel, the infrastructure and the great breakfast. All at a very affordable price. There were a few things which could have been taken care by the staff such as our request for an additional room heater as the one present inside the room was insufficient. 24/7 bar needs to be open, my friend was completely disappointed when we got to know that the bar was closed after 11:00PM and it was very cold and in need of liquid to heat up. Apart from these, everything else was perfect and would love to visit again.

Amazing private space. The bar is costly but the ambience is too good to ignore. The staff is friendly and prompt. I would certainly visit again.

This hotel must have been a great hotel in distant past. I do not recommend to stay in this hotel for current era.

Its terrible they tried to fix it but couldn't. The travel person, Francis, was very helpful who made it easier for us.. The staff was helpful but the quality of the stay don't match to the price..

IT WAS GOOD ENVIRONMENT AND OUTDOOR IS EXCELLENT .FOOD SHOULD BE IMPROVED AS WE HAD DINNER WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN MORE DELICIOUS.THE SPREAD WAS INADEQUATE.

I had seen a mixed review of this hotel.While some praised it very much others were critical. My own experience has been good. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful but again not too far away from the town.One can walk to downtown in 15 minutes.The rooms are well appointed and comfortable.It is time to replace linen and towels, I think.They look somewhat old but clean. The staff is very friendly.View from the rooms, garden and restaurant is great. The staff is thoughtful enough to keep the rooms slightly warmed up. The bar is good but slightly expensive.Same goes for the restaurant. Food quality was also good.We did not have breaffast so I can not comment on it.Overall a good experience.The managment should consider providing indoor slippers. I was walking inside the room in my socks.Overall a good experience

Detailed review given in tripadvisor. You get only assurances and no service delivery from reception. Poor wifi signal even in restaurant. Expedia shows that bath tub is available in deluxe room. But, it is not available. They do not serve even news papers in your room. The refrigerator was not cleaned and seems not to have been used for years. No mini bar available.

Horrible worth for money. Unclean toilets. Poor service at restaurant. Never going to stay here again.

I have stayed here several times. In the past it was somewhat rundown. But the room I had this time had be refurbished. The location is a bit remote but otherwise it is OK. It offers a great view.

A good hotel in Ooty. Lovely hill top setting and views of the town. A bit of a walk up from the town but taxis are available in town to the hotel. Good breakfast and clean rooms. No free wifi as described in hotel details and swimming pool did not appear to be functioning during our stay. Having said that it is probably the best hotel in Ooty.

i stayed at this hotel for one night and wouldn't go back primarily because of the poor service, especially at the reception desk. i asked for a space heater 4 times and wasn't given one (the rooms are cold.) i asked that a computer technician be sent to my room 4 times and he never showed. i asked for a pot of tea which took about 40 minutes to arrive at my table (even though i was asking four different waiters several times each). when it did arrive the lid of the pot was broken (it wouldn't close, hence,cold tea) but the waiter insisted that it was fine even though he couldn't get the lid to shut either. i was also charged for a dental kit (which is irritating after spending the amount i did on the room.) my room was spacious with a good view but it could have done with a bit of renovation (peeling paint...old shower...) it is also possible that my opinion of the hotel is a bit poor because someone repeatedly tried to get into my room at 2:30 AM. the lobby washroom was a bit dirty and the counters and floor all wet (maybe it was just the day i was there.) finally, my bill at check-out was calculated incorrectly 3 times. i have been traveling in india for 4 months and stayed at places ranging from $10/ night to $150/night and this was the worst value for money place i stayed at. complaints aside, the food and dinner service at the chinese restaurant was very good.
