Staff was extremely rude. Water kept shutting off in our room. restaurant food was terrible. The ice pop we had at the beach was delicious. the room was nice and clean. We ended up leaving and staying at an AirBNB by the beach. the place is SUPER overpriced for what you get. 2 star hotel at most. save your money! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Could use more dining options on property. Staff was friendly but not quite the caliber one would expect from Ritz-Carlton. That said, I would definitely book a return trip and recommend this location to friends and family.

Their beach side food and service was mediocre. The sunset cruise and staff were excellent. They are inconsistent with replacements in room after cleaning.

Our stay at the Ritz was great. Very clean, comfortable, lots of little extras. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing. They had water sports you could do that were included. They had there own catamaran that would take you out (extra). All the restaurants were good. I would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay. The staff are so friendly and the fellow guests were too. The king size bed room was nice but if I had to suggest improvement, I would want more storage space. The motion control lights in the bathroom woke up anyone sleeping because the shower glass wall let light though into the bedroom. Bad design. The beach and pool area are gorgeous and restaurant was excellent. We ate there twice for dinner because the food, service and view was amazing. We would definitely come again.

Great view , super clean and safe area

The amenities, quality of food and service, rooms are all far from a 5 stars hotel. Very very expensive for what it is. Luckily the staff is very nice and friendly but we were very disappointed with the overall quality of the hotel.

We had a very nice stay. Great view, clean room. The mattresses need to be flipped so they aren't leaning to one side. We arrived at 5 PM. The first night we had trouble with the QR code to order room service and the front desk was helpful. Food the first night was pretty bad, hard tough cold chicken sandwich. My husband's burger was tough, over spiced and hard. The fries were rubbery. We hardly ate any of it. They forgot the ice we ordered. Ice machine was broken or we would have used it. Bad start. Next time we had room service they forgot to bring my husbands dinner. Mine was cold. Seemed no matter what we ordered it arrived wrong/missing something and cold or just icky, except the wine. The delivery people were nice as was were the house keeping ladies. Over all the place was clean. We had a great dinner at Blue Water, the Pad Thai was the best I have ever had...but sadly couldn't get in again on Wednesday and Thursday. Alloro breakfast was very good. The smoked salmon was the best I have ever had. They served the smallest eggs I have ever seen, but good. Wondered why there was sooooo much garlic in the guacamole..not my favorite. The coffee place was excellent, super nice helpers. Sail had nice food, servers and drinks. Except the lettuce/veggie wrap gave me diarrhea all night. Coconut Grove has a super bar and excellent bar tender, Charlesworth is amazing. Give that man a raise!!!! The gift shop was low on all sizes of women's tops. Nice sales person.

Put in a handicapped room and we ARE NOT handicapped. Spa did not recognize our reservation and staff was very rude and demeaning, talk to the hand with attitude. Rained for 3 days and no umbrellas in our room. Shuttle service did not want to take us to our room upon check in until I offered to drive. Could not reach Aloro to order a pizza to pick up since mail box full, when called concierge would not contact restaurant instead told up to keep calling Aloro directly. Concierge would not shuttle us to Caribbean Fish market next door. The facility is a RINO Ritz in name only. Will never return. Sad since surroundings are beautiful. On to St Croix and St Bartz.

The hotel was very quiet . Thinking that is a island resort i will loved if it has a little vibe some music at the pool. Allore restaurant was ok but not was i was expecting as a restaurant at ritz. The last day of our staying I couldn’t use the bathroom because was a water leak from the ceiling

The Ritz-Carlton is an absolutely beautiful resort with impeccable service. We cannot wait to return!!!

I paid ~1,500 per night for a room at the Ritz - a supposedly 5 star hotel. This is a 3 star hotel. The staff was friendly but the hotel itself is worn down and dirty. 5 star amenities are no where near this place. The food was of 3 star quality. Nothing about this place is 5 star. I’ve stayed in lux hotels all over the world this has been the worst. Based on this I wouldn’t stay at another Ritz…this hotel should lose its flag, be closed and revamped. If not don’t advertise as 5 star it’s 3 star at most. Again dirty, poor food, amenities are terrible, staff is nice but that it, they are slow u knowledgeable and not a lux experience. I never wrote reviews this is my first but need to share so other don’t waste their money. If I had paid 300/night I wouldn’t be upset, but 1,500 was a waste…..The Ritz corporate needs to visit this place….

Spa is adequate, bar is best on the island, Italian restaurant Alloro is excellent, continental breakfast is excellent but expensive. Service is good property is well care for. No elevators up to the rooms access is difficult if you are older or out of shape. Also getting around property is a maze of stairs and ramps, after 3 days I still did not know my way around. Stairs are needed to get to every part of the property.

Beautiful

We had an amazing two nights stay at the Ocean Front room. The facilities at the Hotel is so good, we didn't find the need to go out. We enjoyed the Kayaking, Paddling, Indoor Pool, Private Beach. restaurants. Great Place to stay in St.Thomas. St.Thomas is very crowded and infrastructure is crumbling a lot, so place like Ritz Carlton has created a clean environment for visitors to enjoy the nice sun. Wish the price is little reasonable but given the outside environment, it's worth the ambience inside. I will try Ritz Carlton at some other places also as I have experienced very stay at St.Thomas

Conveniently located on the east side of the island. Quick access to the St John ferry. Beautiful view of St John from the pool / beach area. Great staff! Could use some evening entertainment. Very quiet on the resort after dinner.

Our stay was Absolutely wonderful!!! From arrival to departure and everything in-between was like a fairy tale since we were celebrating our Honeymoon. The staff , the grounds and the food was of the highest quality and we enjoyed EVERYDAY. Will Definitely be returning. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful experience

We absolutely loved the location of the ritz-carlton, however we expected more services, more inclusive options, and definitely more food option. We would've loved to have a tours and excursion included with our stay as well. Overall or stay was great but these few thing would have definitely made it an Amazing trip.
