Ocean Shores provides a very clean and safe environment. It is quaint with a comfortable local vibe and decor. The landscaping and summer flowers are beautiful and there is an excellent view of Kachemak Bay with an easy access trail to the beach.

What a gem of a hotel is Ocean Shores in Homer, Alaska! I can't say enough about the comfort, cleanliness and friendliness of this place. In addition it's located right along the shore. Our room had the cutest deck with chairs. The price is reasonable, too. Ocean Shores . . . one of the highlights of our trip!

Thin walls, I was awakened by sounds of plumbing, walking and conversations in the next room. Comfortable Clean beds. No electric vehicle charging available. Wonderful flowers at the office

The Ocean Shore is extremely nice the room large and comfortable and the view, wow we had a balcony to sit and enjoy.

The units lower are right on the cliff. Great views and easy walk to the beach!

The view of kachemak bay was incredible. Was able to walk to beach and also sit on well tended lawn and watch boats come and go. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable

Beautiful view of the water. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Several good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was fabulous! At check-in we were offered a room with a better view than our booking - Thank you! The housekeeper went out of her way to offer help to me when she saw me sitting outside my room. No assistance was needed but her concern was much appreciated. We had a wonderful visit to Homer!

Beautiful view of ocean and mountains from our room. Access to the beach was so nice. Microwave and refrigerator were convenient for meals on our own. Close to all areas of interest in Homer. We loved it and it would be our first choice for lodging on our next visit to Homer.

Beautiful views from the balcony. We got upgraded to a room with a view of the beach and mountains. Loved that we were able to walk to the beach and explore during low tide. Rooms are older but very clean and had a microwave and coffee pot. Staff was very friendly. A great place to stay

This motel had a quaint beach vibe and retro feel and was very well kept.

Stay was wonderful! My husband and I just stayed there last night. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. Checking in and out was super quick and easy, and they are located next to a yummy restaurant. Highly recommend staying here!!!

I always enjoy staying at the Ocean Shores when I visit Homer and I encourage others to choose them too. My only complaint is I wish I could have stayed longer.
