Stayed here for one night in a twin room during late September 2020. Its a large hotel but was not very busy at all, I guess due to covid. Location was good for work as just off the motorway. Loads of outdoor free parking spaces without height restrictions which was great. Decent price and decent room, nothing ultra special but clean and comfortable. Sweets on pillow are a nice touch. Overall the hotel was welcoming and the man on reception spoke perfect English and was really nice.Only compliant was hotel restaurant, not much around so ate here. Decent beer but food portions were tiny for the price i.e soup was gone in 4 spoonfuls. Also its weirdly quiet with no music!Overall a nice hotel for a short stay but I'd stick to a nice German beer rather than food in restaurant.

Easy accessible hotel for a stop - over. Good value for the money for the room, dinner and breakfast - but no alternative for other activities if you want alternatives for restaurants etc.

Very nice hotel for stop over. Very close to main motorway and free parking. Rooms are tidy and staff very welcoming. Breakfast in the morning very good.

Check-in staff could not speak English but German. It was very inconvenient. In addition, handling was very slow, we had to wait for a long time.

Perfectly managed clean hotel with very nice staff. We use that for overnight stay and we were satisfied with its location, cleaness and restaurant for dinner. Simply perfect hotel of this type.

Een ruime en nette twee persoonskamer, schone en vrije nieuwe badkamer, goede comfortabele bedden, enig puntje van kritiek is dat er korte tijd wat geluidsoverlast was van de ingang (direct onder onze kamer) rond sluitingstijd van de bar.
Kwaliteit van de service:
Onbijt was excl. maar hebben we uiteindelijk wel bijgeboekt en was erg goed en uitgebreid, vriendelijk personeel en permanent bemande receptie, gratis sauna, ligging is vrij dichtbij de snelweg wat erg gemakkelijk is voor mensen die op doorreis zijn.
Samengevat een goed hotel en zeker waar voor je geld!

We needed a hotel near the A2 motorway in Magdeburg area and we found Hotel Sachsen-Anhalt on hotels.com. We stayed here one night (22/23 July 2008). The room was clean and very comfortable. In fact the whole hotel was spotless and nicely decorated. The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere. Although the evening menu was limited, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The breakfast was amazing in its range of choices and quality! All of the staff that we encountered including the cleaner were very friendly and accomodating and spoke English. Great value for money! We were really satisfied and we would recommend this hotel without hesitation!
