The refrigerator was broken The door was very bad when to unlocked it

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) stayed for 2 nights. We appreciated the extra space on the sofa and two TVs in the room. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable and we didn’t hear any neighbors. Pool and hot tub area was a little messy but we swam at the end of the night so maybe earlier in the day would have been better - plenty of pool towels left though. Breakfast was average, a decent selection of hot and cold foods and different options each morning. Check in and out process was smooth. Front desk was very nice and attentive and gave us a few bottles of water when the dispenser in the lobby was empty. Great location, we would stay here again!

Great location, great rooms, great price

My stay at Springhill Suites in West Des Moines was great. I was greeted by a pleasant young lady upon check in. The lobby smelled fantastic. That evening a young man hooked me up with a razor and shave cream since I somehow forgot mine. My room was super clean and the bed super comfy. Breakfast was good. I was thankful for the 12 o'clock check-out, since I was in town for a late night concert. If I am ever back around, I will be sure to stay there again. Although I didn't get a chance to utilize the pool and hot tub, I did check it out, it was very nice and the area was clean. Wish I would have had time for a swim and a soak.

Everything was very nice.

The lights in the room when you walk in didn't work, there was visibly dirty hand towels hanging up by the sink, the fan in the bathroom didn't work and there was mold starting to grow on the ceiling. Staff was very friendly and attentive, hotel was welcoming and for the most part clean. Pool area was decent, the hot tub wasn't very warm. It would be nice if there was a way for the smoke from the patio area to not funnel in the pool/hot tub area every time the door was opened. Overall, a decent hotel.

Great hotel stay between 2 long days of driving from CO to MI. Front desk was helpful, dogs were welcome, good parking near room, fridge, flat screen TV, warm shower in AM, breakfast off the lobby, etc.

Location was convenient. Room was spacious. A little outdated, but clean.

The rooms were large and the sofa bed was adequate. The breakfast was one of the worst. The wrong foods were cold and warm. The pastries tasted off. Thank goodness for the coffee!

A bit pricey but worth it. I had a room with a king bed and sofa bed. Also had a fridge and microwave. Great room. I’d stay again.

Very clean quiet with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby!

I liked how friendly they were about pets. And I locked myself out of my room two different times and they were very accommodating. Pool and hot tub were both very clean and provided towels. Breakfast was great. LOVE noon checkout. We will stay here again for sure next time we get to DM

Great place to stop and stay the night

After being in a nicer SpringHill Suites in Cheyenne the night before, we were disappointed in the condition of this particular SpringHill Suites. We didn’t feel as safe, and the room was not as clean. We were glad to be out and on the road again early the next morning. The bright spot was the friendly man that checked us in.

We had a good overall stay. It was right off rte 80 and it was dog friendly. It's right near a park so we were able to take a nice walk with our dog. We had the indoor pool and jacuzzi nearby which we didnt have the time or energy to use but it was nice that it was available. Breakfast was standard for Marriotts.

Check in was quick& easy.Lobby was clean &the employee was super kind. Our room was nice, spacious &clean. We got settled in, left to go swimming right away &were there til it closed at 11.Went to go to bed &there was a rattling/vibration sound that was very prevalent coming from the bathroom wall area that we didn’t notice til the air conditioner & TV were off. It drove me nuts as well as my family &we could not sleep. I called the front desk & asked them if we could please switch rooms. She said it was probably another rooms fan so I waited a bit. It stopped for a couple mins &started again, continued never stopping. We were able to switch rooms thankfully. The next room we moved to was spacious & clean. However, this time there was a dog next door that would bark every so often, & the air conditioner wasn’t working correctly. The first room had a digital AC where I could set the temp, the second room had a turn switch AC. I had it turned to the coldest setting on high & it would run for 5 mins & shut off for about 2 hours. I told them, they said it would be fixed when I returned or we’d change rooms again. We got back, it wasn’t fixed. The overnight desk lady is grumpy & not friendly, said she’d send a fan, never did. The pool looks NOTHING like the photos, needs upgrading, water was cloudy. Breakfast was a nightmare. They ran out of food 40 mins before closing hours &refused to make more food or put anything else out. Not even cereal. Ridiculous. Vanessa was very helpful

It was a very nice hotel. My only complaints are that the toilet paper was that terrible cheap stuff, and the room could have used more light. Everything else was great!!

Had a great room, 2 queens and sofa was comfy enough to sleepin too. Only negative was breakfast area is too small and staff didn't keep it filled up with stuff, no napkins, coffee, food, etc... this was during their busy time but they didn't seem able to see what was low and get on it.

Service was good, breakfast not so great. Rooms were clean but felt like we shouldn't ask for any extra towels.

Easy access off the highway. We got a suite but didn't realize it is a connecting room, so you get to hear your neighbors talk, and hear their tv all night. Hard to get comfortable with all the additional noise next door.

The pool was gross
