They just need more parking space

Staff was very helpful. Pool was very nice and clean. Very convenient restaurants.

Enjoyed the area, the bed was pretty hard and the pillows were stiff other than that no real big complaints. Staff was very helpful every time we needed something.

Overall was good except for the dead bugs outside the room

The property is older but you can’t beat the location. I liked the hospitality and the attention the staff gave us. The rooms were very clean and the view was amazing. The vending machine was cheaper than the local stores along with the price for bottled water. The place does go out of the way to satisfy its customers. The local maintenance guy called a local woman who sells home made fresh Patties and they were awesome. We were treated like family. Literally on the boardwalk and accessible to everything. Don’t be discouraged by the appearance of the neighborhood. Yes, some parts are of concern but they are due to the most recent hurricane damage. The staff at the hotel are hard working and they made sure we got to places safe and ate at the most authentic locations. The pool was very clean and always had fresh towels! I really enjoyed the age of the hotel and its design. Meaning its lobby area was open and the air flowed so amazing. At night I really enjoyed the pool roof top and enjoyed looking down on the streets and boardwalk. “Jump Up”party was this Friday night and the streets were full of venders, open shops and local food from 4pm-midnight! If you ever get to experience a “Jump Up” event always do the Mothers Day weekend. We really had a great time and the people were so nice. I came from a location like this growing up in Mexico and the people are only trying to make a living and are very nice! Be open minded as this hotel wins for its customer service and care!

Uncomfortable bed

Not bad, typically I don’t stay in the touristy parts, but I was solo and it worked out well. Ate some great food and got to relax. I would recommend but parking sucks though.

Location, location, location. The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of town. Restaurants, shops, boardwalk, and activities steps away. In terms of the hotel property, it was mid-tier. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Fridge and microwave came in handy. The view of water was amazing. Pool and upper deck were also quite nice. Overall good stay.

This hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to food & shops. It does get a little noisy in the early morning hours. Rooms tend to have a view of ocean or harbor which is unbeatable. Have stayed here on a few occasions & I do recommend.

Clean hotel and rooms. It's in downtown a lot of restaurant choices and activities available. The homeless population can be an eyesore for some. just smile and move on, I never felt unsafe.

The only downside to the property that I feel I should mention is they ran out of towels for us. Other than that, the staff was very nice. Be aware that it may be loud at night because you are right next to Shupes but there is nothing the hotel can do about that.

Lose to the boadwalk

Me and my wife had great stay. Everything was excellent from the service to the hospitality. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location for fun and adventure.

Was given a room with fresh paint smell and bugs.

Very convenient location. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. A little musty in the room. Would be nice if they offered breakfast or at least continental breakfast.

We loved staying here! Great staff and location! Private Parking. But my Teens missed the pool, please make it work again. Oh and the elevator 😊. Wonderful hotel in the heart of Christiansted St. Croix, US Virgin Islands!

Would have been nice to know the pool was closed for repairs.

This site sold me a Harbor View room and what we got was a view of the parking lot. When I told them when we arrived that it wasn’t what I had purchased I was told that it wasn’t their problem because I didn’t purchase it through them. They had no other rooms available so I had no other choices. It was too late in the evening to find somewhere else. The evening desk attendant was rude and when I asked her a question she lied straight to my face. The unprofessionalism was astounding. If you are going to work with the public, you need some modicum of rapport.

Overall a comfortable stay. Room spacious and clean. Thanks for the complimentary drinking water. Good dining options around the Hotel.

Hotel is in a convenient location, very good restaurant (Rum Runner), however, parking was terrible and area was under construction. A more friendly customer service needed!

My stay at the Caravelle was amazing. The front desk staff was very friendly and polite. The room was spacious, clean and had an awesome view of the ocean. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance to explore. Overall it was a great stay. My one critique would be that there is limited space for parking if you plan on renting a vehicle while you’re there. Even with that said, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Great boutique hotel with nice rooms and ocean views. Service is great and the front desk staff is very cordial. Always stay here when I travel on business to St. Croix. The only negative is they have limited parking and it’s first come first serve. Government parking is a few blocks away (walkable) and they have street parking in front of the hotel (when available). The casino is small but always busy with both tourists and locals. I highly recommend this property.

We liked that the hotel was convenient to shopping, a lovely beach only a short boat ride away and clean rooms. Parking is available for $25.00 a day well worth the price of not trying to figure out where to park. You could pay only $5.00 a day at the public parking area however it’s a couple of blocks away from the hotel.

The location is very convenient in the heart of Christiansted. Great view from the 3rd floor room. The Lobby area should have a food/snack bar that open early by 6:00am and late at 12:00pm.
