My stay at **Rosewood Schloss Fuschl** was simply unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive reception made me feel special and well taken care of. The service provided by the entire team, from the front desk to housekeeping, was impeccable. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and personalized experience.
A standout feature of my stay was the exceptional service from Leonardo, the concierge. He went above and beyond at every moment, offering recommendations and assistance that truly made a difference. His dedication and attention to detail elevated our experience and set this hotel apart.
The hotel itself is a true gem, set in a location that can only be described as magical. Lake Fuschl, surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking natural scenery, creates a fairytale-like setting.
The **hotel design**, blending the historical elegance of the castle with contemporary luxury, strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern. The architectural details, impeccable décor, and thoughtful touches in every corner of the space create an atmosphere that is both cozy and sophisticated.

We stayed at Schloss Fuschl during a recent trip in July to Germany and Austria. This hotel was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. The property and lakefront location are gorgeous and the service is impeccable. We travel extensively and would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling in and around Salzburg or the Salzkammergut region.

You can rent small boats, eat on the terraces (menu and food is great), visit the fishery on the property for fresh, smoked fish. They have new house cars to take you to nearby restaurants for dinner. The spa, indoor pool, and facilities are modern. A nice clothing and home store on property. The bar stayed open late to accommodate us after the opera.

Schloss Fuscl is part of thw Luxury Collection and rated a SPG category 7 hotel for a reason.
The resort is set near Lake Fuscl that provides a Jetty and lake view front with water activities.
The guest services team ensured I could give my missus a birthday surprise - special thanks to Victoria (hope i got the name correct:) who came down with cake and flowers for our midnight surprise.
My wife was totally floored with the resort setting, the spa facilities and the care provided by the team - from Reception desk, Restaurant team to Room Services.
One of most memorable holidays we ever had.
Even the care they took for my little daughter with her bed made up, her small cute gown and slippers are ready for her with a welcome GugelHupf (Ring cake) :).
Heartiest thanks to the great team at Schloss Fuscl :) Highly recommended for family or couples.

The least ambitious food is the best choice (e.g., Wiener Schnitzel); the tasting menus are highly expensive, unexpectedly bland, and not especially good, with uninteresting wine pairings. (Other restaurants in the Salzburg and Hof area are much better. Consult the Michelin Guide.) Since this is a hotel favored by the rich, and sometimes the famous, you may find yourself delegated to an undesirable dining table, with families with small children sitting nearby. There are lots of families in this resort hotel. Protests (and tips) were ineffective--you are simply told: the other tables have already been reserved. This happened to us three separate (pre-reserved) evenings.

Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. We swam in the lake on both days and walked round the lake which was very beautiful.

Amazing staff. Luxurious hotel. Free parking. Spacious room with a nice view of lake Fuschl (Grand Deluxe Room) if you can afford an upgrade definitely go with it. Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here dont miss it.

The hotel itself was formerly a hunting lodge used by the well-off in Salzburg, so it is full of history. The lake is pristine; rooms are luxurious; the staff are impeccable; spa is also very pleasing. Location is about 30 minutes from Salzburg, and there is really nowhere to eat other than the restaurant in the hotel. This is probably the only downside.

You can't beat the hotel's location right on lake Fuschl, only 12 miles from Salzburg. At the end of Sept, with few tourists, sitting on the terrace and gazing at the lake and background mountains is serene and meditative. Our room (and I think all the rooms) were recently renovated so the feeling is less like a castle and more like a high end modern hotel. The deluxe room we had was much smaller than I expected, packed with furniture and a very comfortable bed. Lighting in the bathroom could have been better but was "all right". In today's modern design, windows seem to go between the bathroom and the rest of the room so there's a loss of privacy, although this designer was smart enough to put in a sliding panel to cover the window if you want. The spa is spacious, with nice setups for massages and resting areas. Staff is friendly and upbeat.

Great views and very friendly staff. The restaurants in the hotel really good food. Spa has excellent treatments. Peace and tranquility of this place makes it a worth while visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anybody visiting salzburg.

We were extremely satisfied with Hotel Schloss Fuschl and we think that it's the best hotel we have been to so far. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the hotel itself is amazing. We also had great service and the restaurants served delicious and very fine food. We also loved the spa!

Special family occasion with party of nine. Never before evperienced such a combination of stunning location, fabulous hotel and first class service from incredibly helpful staff. This kind of experience is not cheap so be prepared, though all of our party felt they had good value. 18km out of Salzburg so a hire car is an advantage although hotel provides a free shuttle bus. Would love to return one day.

I was looking for a decent SPA hotel in Austria/Germany with some additional just-in-case options like mountain/cross-country skiing, sightseeing and just soaking in a bubble bath. Hotel Fuschl was a random pick but proved to be a perfect one. The hotel was renovated/rebuilt some 2-3 years ago so everything looked new and clean. The hotel has Michelin-starred restaurant and a decent selection of wines. Nothing to say about a breath-taking view on the Fuschl lake and mountains. A perfect place to relax.

I had to write a review after staying at this luxurious hotel. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an incredible time. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location overseeing Fuschl lake and each breakfast you overlook the lake with the mountains/hills on the other side with a plentiful buffet to choose from. Being so near to Salzburg (with complementary shuttle rides) meant we were never bored and after 10 days we returned with a list of things we still wanted to see on a return trip. There were countless small lake towns that were beautiful, as well as activities readily available in the area. We stayed in their standard room which was by no means standard and included a complementary minibar. The service of the staff was impeccable, always willing to assist, taking the initiative in serving you, grateful when receiving a tip, and all this came with smiles. The staff, room, location, luxurious spar facilities, and relaxed atmosphere all contributed to a relaxing and refreshing time. They also gave us gifts in celebration of our marriage and honeymoon to make it that little more special. The food in the various hotel restaurants and bar was delicious and there were plenty of other good places to eat nearby. If you want to celebrate a special occasion or simply relax; then this is the hotel for you.
