Biggest problem was a squeaky bed. Made a weird noise almost a metal tin popping sound. Shower also made a weird sound. Other than noises place was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Breakfast was above average

It smelled of smoke a little but other than that, it was good.

This is a three star hotel. I don’t know where all these 5/5 reviews came from. For example, we changed our room due to a heavy musty smell and the next room was marginally btr but still smelled. They have a device that pumps out fragrance in the lobby, but the rooms were nasty. I went out and bought room spray as we figured asking for a third room would not help. Front staff at check-in was never rude, but simply NOT hospitable. He acted confused when I explained that the room smelled. Breakfast was awful. Fake eggs.

It was clean and comfortable.

The room had a terrible smell. There were ants on the kitchen counter. I killed two roaches. The sheets were soiled. The closet, bathroom doors, as well as drawers and desk, all had a sticky feel to them. I constantly felt the need to wash my hands. The AC feels like it's blowing dust into the air. I was bitten by something while sleeping.

The guy at the desk to check in was very accommodating. He let me check in a bit early because I was just sitting around there waiting until 3 to check in. Very nice of him

Nice lobby, dining, food options, and employees. Good price. Much traffic noise from highway. Bed too high, hard to get into. I am not short. Metal bed base made big noise when got on and off bed. Towels and shower curtain were stained. No bathroom air fan. Difficulty with electric plug by bed, but breathing device did stay plugged in.

Room was excellent. Very big and comfortable. I was a little taken aback when the maid opened our door without knocking or calling out first. Luckily we were dressed. Breakfast buffet was ok but we got bored with the same food every day.

Building is run down. There weren’t any light bulbs in the bed side lights The bed was comfortable though.

We were only here overnight. The room was great as was the lobby,however the halway upstairs had a very strong cigarette ordor. The room did not so we didn't say anything.

I stopped staying at comfort inns years ago for they have really declined in cleanliness and presitage. However, this comfort gave me hope that they are back on the up and up. Hotel room was spacious, clean, breakfast was amazing. Especially the strawberry waffles! Staff was friendly and very hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay and if ever come back to yellow springs for a weekend adventure we will definitely be back!

Loved the hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were quiet and the food was so good. Everything was so clean and nice. I will stay here again in the future. Pool was great too.

Clean but dated only suites available

Good communication and checkin-checkout instructions. Clean comfortable and charming place to stay. We were passing through for a quick overnight but wished we had more time to walk and explore the quaint quiet area. Very reasonable accommodations.

Clean and well maintained.

This property is right off the interstate, so it is quite convenient. That means it was also noisy from the highway. The AC was pretty loud as well. The bed felt as if it was on top of a file cabinet rather than a foundation. The room was quite clean and much larger than I expected. The front desk person was not very engaging when we checked in. And the morning mgr. was not very personable, either.

At the time I stayed, this property had a rating of 8.2/10. I have no idea how they achieved this! It does not reflect the actual experience. Additionally, the hotel is not the cheapest available and I expected more for the price. The man who checked me in at 3 pm was rude and made me feel I was interrupting his phone scrolling. I had no special requests that were annoying. Simple check in, yet probably my worst check-in experience ever. There were ants in my room, along the floor and on the desk. Cleanliness: the hallways, elevator, doorways, headboards all felt dingy and look dirty. There was something that looked like vomit on carpet of the third floor, next to the door to the stairwell. It was there for my entire 3 night stay. The hotel is older, but this is no excuse for a lack of cleanliness. The “stairwell doors” at the ends of the building do not lock, a security feature. Noise: for those who are light sleepers, this hotel right next to the highway. There was a party in the room above my room 2 of 3 nights of my stay. The bed frames are metal and make noises with simple rolling around at night. The sheets and duvet were old and pilled. The sheets didn’t fit the bed and kept coming off. I couldn’t wait to go home.
