Very nice large rooms. We were probably upgraded. Very good German breakfast. Good and nice service. The hotel is located outside of Lubeck and a digital map is helpful.

As always almost perfect. Breakfast and dinner outside with a view over the fields. Was our eights of ninth time and we keep coming here with our dog.

Even though we arrived very late they provided us with a cheese platter and a bittle of wein in the room, since the kitchen was closed. Next morning the same with breakfast. Very good service. It is not for nothing we keep coming bach here.👍

At arrival the reserved room was not made ready for us. It needed an intervention at the reception to get a new room instead to follow the hotel assistants proposal to have dinner first After a 40° summer day we wanted to shower first prior going to the restaurant.

Hidden in the rural outskirts of Lübeck, the Ringhtel Friederikenhof is a wonderful location for a short getaway and a romantic weekend. It offers all the amenities you require and a an excellent restaurant with very attentive service. If you are so enclined, bring your bike along - the surroundings are perfect for a bike ride with a picnic for two along a canal or you could explore Lübeck from the seat of your bike. I am seriously considering rebooking another stay!

This was a one night stay coming from Scandinavia at 21 hours. Navigation is needed as this is situated off the beaten bath. The hotel is nice and service is friendly.

nice hotell in a quiet area in the countryside but still close to the Autobahn. The people working at the hotell were very service minded

Staying +100 nights a year at hotels, I am not easy to,impress! I liked this hotel a lot - nice and friendly staff, two good restaurants in the hotel, great breakfast, spacious room, nice spa and pool, parking for my car and a great location.

An excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings, everything about the hotel was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is near Luebeck but is definitely situated in the country. So, it would be perfect for visiting, and then retreating from this World Heritage city. It would also be great if you had time to relax and just sit in the garden or enjoy the countryside. There are no supporting services out there -- no entertainment complexes or stores -- so the hotel is very much your only resource. But a fine resource it is. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The restaurant serves an array of game, prepared to a high standard, but also familiar German dishes (it is not inexpensive). Everyone speaks enough English to be of good service. I regretted that we stayed only one night but our schedule and the miserable weather forced us to move on.

Great and friendly place to stay -- close to Lubec - still very quiet , nice garden

The hotel was in such a peaceful location yet only a 10 minute drive from the city. The service was excellent as was the breakfast.

Wonderful, beautiful hotel with really nice gourmet restaurant. Outside of town, and it helps to have a GPS to find the place. Probably would need a car to get there (plenty of on-site parking). Quite and peaceful. No shops or restaurants near hotel, but barns and cottages are nice to walk around. Room was large and comfortable, very clean, and attractively decorated.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful location with lovely outdoor areas for sitting and dining. Hotel staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Small high quality good value dinner menu . Wide range of dishes for breakfast. Lighting level in bedrooms too low. Would visit again.
