Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to be helpful. We loved the chilled atmosphere and the convenient location of the hotel. Plenty of choice regarding food both at the hotel and also in the town itself. Location was excellent with everything/everywhere easily accessible on foot. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will definitely go back. 😊

The hotel had everything I could ask for, Beautiful views, a pool, close to town and wonderful staff. I had an excellent outdoor massage near the sea. Also, the included breakfast was delicious.

Superb accommodation and sea views

Really nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very attentive. Perfect area Where the hotel is located. Breakfast is really good and fresh. Room light and we had space enough. If i should find one small minus then its the light on the bathroom. Was Dark out there. And no other mirrors in the room. But its only a small minus but any an advice maybe to make it even better. Our stsy was perfect. Loved this hotel. Thank you to the staff for help with lost luggage and good service

This hotel, staff and manager will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable for you as possible. Loved the staff working the buffet, and the head desk and their team. The hotel is placed right on the cliff facing the ocean. So the view is to die for. It also has a pool that is beautifully well kept And there is no hazzle with people prebooking the pool chairs. The poolbar offers a selection of Food and bevarges and the Young team are so incredibly helpfull. The breakfast is a Dream come true and the staff try to accomodate special request. The interior is well kept and with art that compliments the House. I forgot an item and they a driver deliver it to me at my hotel in Lisbon. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

In all my family vacation and business trips around the world, the Farol is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. You cant go wrong staying at the Farol.

Amazing boutique hotel right on the edge of the ocean. What a location, couldn't have been better. Friendly, courteous, professional staff. So helpful at all times. Lovely, comfortable, spacious rooms with terrace outside. Great breakfast and bar food and drinks. Close to everything in Cascais. Will definitely be returning, thanks guys for making our stay special 😊

We had a wonderful stay - the staff couldn’t do enough for us to make our holiday the best it could be - the front of house ladies in particular were so helpful. We loved the location just on the outskirts of the busy town with amazing views. And breakfast was Amazing!

Me and my family had a wonderful stay here. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The views are just incredible and to sit by the pool gazing out towards the ocean - bliss! Would highly recommend it.

Quiet, peaceful a great place to relax. A walk on the beach takes you to shopping and other places to eat. Our meal at Farol was excellent and as another bonus is breakfast each morning served with the view of the ocean.

It is a small 5 stars hotel so we were expecting a great service but our experience was disappointing. We arrived tired and hungry after a long flight, they offered a pool/bar restaurant but we waited an hour for 2 appetizers, was too much!. They also forgot or got confuse making our reservation for dinner, so no restaurant available. Also, if you enjoy privacy be sure to let them know, my husband was trying to sleep when a man was inside our room without first knocking at the door, 10 minutes later, it happened again with a lady inside our room when my husband was taking a shower! And finally, if you enjoy a dark room to sleep well, the room #301 is not for you, the light from the hall get in through your door and it is a party inside your room, not kidding! One manager said sorry for everything but that was all. No a single courtesy for us at all.

This hotel has one of the best views from the room we booked. The design of the hotel is wonderful and the staff are very helpful. Staying at the hotel added to my experience in Portugal. It was a pleasure to stay at the Farol hotel in Cascais. What a gem.

We spent four amazing nights at the Farol Hotel. The staff was outstanding …the breakfast was delicious and our room, 206, with all the amenities couldn’t have been more perfect not to mention the incredible view of the ocean. This is definitely a five star hotel. Thank you ALL for a memorable experience!

They really went above and beyond for us. We had one of the best rooms in the hotel on the corner overlooking the ocean. They went out of their way to help me when I had a wifi issue with a class I had to teach. I definitely look forward to staying again.

Beautiful City and wonderful hosts

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. From check-in through to the end, every single member of the staff was friendly, and made the stay feel personal. The rooms are beautiful, but cozy, and the view of the water is spectacular. The breakfast every morning was so nice, and the bar was a relaxing, fun place to visit. It is very convenient to everything, but off the beat and path enough to be quiet. They even had bikes for us to ride! I would highly recommend this hotel.

First time at The Farol. Beautiful views by the Atlantic. Small boutique hotel, beautiful artwork on the walls, sushi is wonderful and overall really enjoyed the stay. Came in March and they didn’t have their outside set up fully so you didn’t get the full outdoor experience but overall very good

Excellent hotel, very modern and clean and in a great location. Service by all the staff was impecable, in particular the young man on tbe door and the reception staff. Always happy to welcome us back in, interested in what we had done and recommended places to go and see. Valued the littel touches like free water and health drinks and treats left in te room each night. Breakfast was very good too

This was the nicest place to spend our 30th anniversary, staff were amazing, easy to walk everywhere, absolutely stunning rooms facing the ocean, restaurants are delightful

Fantastic staff , beautiful hotel , amazing experience

This hotel is probably the most beautiful hotel we ever stayed at. The staff was Absolutely amazing and accommodating with everything. They helped us with all our questions and offered assistance through the whole stay. My only complaint is the cleanliness. Our bathroom shower was clogged which we found out in the middle Of the night so we didn’t complain. The shower and bathroom were not as Clean as we would expect for 5 stars. I had water almost covering my feet while I showered which it’s not good. However, I can’t stress enough on how much this hotel was beautiful and the location is 10000000000/10000000000. Also let’s give a huge shoutout for the sushi restaurant they have where we ate the best sushi we ever had. I would totally recommend and go back as soon as we can! Would love if the cleaning part was fixed :)

The hotel was exceptional. Great decor and an excellent location next to the picturesque Boca do Inferno and close to the Cascais Marina. Also very close to several museums including the Paula Rego museum. The staff were excellent, friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast included in our package and the selection was very good. Lots of choice, fresh and tasty. My friend and I are already planning our next trip!

The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and in a fantastic location right on the ocean and within walking distance to the town of Cascais and all sightseeing points. The staff is great, kind, helpful and accommodating. They have an amazing bar and fantastic Sushi restaurant on site. The freshness and quality of the fish and the fantastic Sushi Chef make for an unforgettable experience. We stayed in a large, spacious, super clean and well appointed room with ocean view. At night we could hear the waves crashing. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean with a fantastic rain shower. We received a complimentary bottle of wine and pastries. The breakfast is also very easy, delicious, well presented with lots of options. We would stay again in a heartbeat and can only recommend this hotel due to this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back.
