Didn’t hate our stay, but didn’t love it. The room and bathroom was very clean, but there was visible mold on the ceiling. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice. We were not told at check in that this hotel doesn’t offer room service at all unless you ask, but whatever. We asked for towels and had to go down and get them ourselves which added to my annoyance. I had a second large hold on my credit card after check in. So instead of the full price of the room, plus deposit I had another 211$ on top of my bill. The night clerk was friendly and said it was an issue bec I used a diff credit card than when I booked (which It was not, I only have 1 card) but that she was reversing it but couldn’t tell me when it would fall off. The pool was small but clean and the boat area was nice. We werent crazy about the breakfast and ended up skipping it both mornings and went out. The lobby is cute and clean. I enjoyed that this location wasn’t far from the national park area, but due to the issues we had will not use this property again. I’ve worked in this business, and a lot of these issues should not have happened. Especially tying up additional funds of travelers who are out of town and need access to their money.

The hotel is clean but needs some attention! We get to our room, open the door and was immediately hit with this horrible odor that smelled like cat urine!! The couches were sun faded and the other furniture needed some updates. The hotel did have continental breakfast which was a plus. I have stayed here in the past but the hotel was newer then. For the price I paid, I expected it to be of better quality.

The staff that checked us in and checked us out were very friendly. The hotel was clean and the room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outdoors by the lake. The continental breakfast was also very good. Would definitely stay there again when in the area!

This hotel was disgustingly dirty and run down. Almost of all the workers reeked of weed. The hotel smelled like weed as well. People were smoking it on their balconies and therefore the whole pool area smelt of it as well. We checked in and was given a non serviced dirty room. Got a new room and it was filthy. I asked for it to be swept and they said they had no one to do it, but allowed me to get a broom and do it myself. Washer was out of service the entire time we were there. Asked for a discount bc the room was filthy. Was given 5%. They then put an additional hold on my card for the full amount of my room along with the actual charge. Customer service was horrible. Breakfast was okay. Would never ever stay here again. Oh also found a half smoked blunt under the bed. Left it there so im guessing its still there as well. I have tons of pics but it wont let me upload them.

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way back home from Little Rock to Dallas. If cleanliness is your priority, avoid this hotel. The room smelled humid and had a bad odor. We found several hairs on the bedsheets, along with some dirt and red spots, indicating the sheets were not changed before our stay. The bathtub was dirty, very old-looking, and had cracks. The vanity and bathtub did not drain properly, causing water to pool. The refrigerator made noise all night. Breakfast was very common and nothing special. This property is very unclean and needs a complete renovation and remodeling.

Air conditioner leaked, fridge kept making a random popping noise. It scared me in the middle of the night. No body wash in dispenser, pool furniture had mildew on it, breakfast biscuits were like rocks, literally, pancake machine left pancakes half cooked. It was a place to lay my head, that’s it.

Always enjoy a great stay.

Stayed on the 1st floor and ceiling in the room had mold issues. We changed rooms and the new room also had issues with the ceiling but as bad as the first room we were placed in. Front desk had no knowledge which I find had to believe.

The room was ok, although the bed moved a little and a LOT of dirt was exposed. The worst part was the outside area beside the dock. The cushions were utterly filthy. I wouldn't sit on them. The water beside the dock was filled with litter and other debris. The turtles were cool, but the were swimming through filth.

Had to take out your own trash. No maid service. Had to exchange towels at the front desk if wanted new towels. Not terribly clean. Bath tub backed up to your ankles while showering. Empty shower wash the first night. Last night the air conditioner leaked over night and the entire room was flooded from the air conditioner to the bathroom.

I paid $20 extra for a room with a view of the lake, but when I checked in they gave me a parking lot view. The keys didn’t work anyway but a maintenance man let me in. I went back down and told them that the keys didn’t work and that I had paid extra for a view, so they changed the room and rekeyed the key cards. The new room had a decent view of the lake, and it was large and clean enough, if a bit worn. The pool was okay but they had several floaties by the pool, all broken. After dinner we returned to the room, but discovered that the toilet wouldn’t flush completely and was clogged up and. Also the television wouldn’t connect to the internet. We called the front desk and we were told that the internet was down, no ETA on when it would be back on, and that he would call maintenance to fix the toilet. We watched a show on my phone and one hour ago later, we still had not seen a maintenance person. I insisted that we were not going to spend the night in a room with a clogged toilet, and asked him if he could just bring a plunger, but he didn’t know where to find one, and said he was unable to get in touch with a maintenance person. So at my request he moved us to a third room. We had to repack everything and switch rooms at 10 pm at night. The bar was closed for remodeling, and the breakfast stopped serving at 9, so we didn’t have a chance to try any food.

The room had mold, no vent in the bathroom which caused a lot of humidity, hairs on the floor, and no towels. I accidentally booked for the wrong date, so I called the front desk to book a room for that night, arrived at the location and no available rooms because they were all booked.

Not the best hotel but had the greatest customer service which made up for the rest.

Our visit was excellent!! We will be back.

Upon arrival, we noticed the sign was knocked down by the drive to turn for the hotel. All staff were very nice. Bottom of tub was dirty looking. We found a few stains on our sheets and the walls. 2 tiny trash cans in room. Room did have a mini fridge and microwave. Both clean. Area by the lake had chairs to sit, but some were missing cushions. Breakfast was nice! I did see cobwebs in the halls by the ceilings. They also do not service your room unless you request. If you need any items (towels, trash bags, toilet paper, etc) you have to go to the front desk. They have a sign at the front desk stating this.

The property is in need of some maintenance for sure! The sink in our room didn't drain, we asked for maintenance to come which he did, he put drano down the drain, it seemed to help for awhile, but the next day it went back to not draining. We ended up brushing our teeth in the bathtub. They asked if we would like another room, which we looked at, however, that room smelled like mold so we decided to stay in the room. we only ate there 1 time as the menu didn't change from day to day. we didn't go in the pool either because it was kinda gross. however the staff were exceptional!! every time we needed anything they were on top if it!

Great location

Love location, like breakfast, but hated the rooms, first room had a smell (a pet odor). They barely moved me to another room due to the lack of available rooms. The second room was not fully cleaned (dirty towels were left). One of the pool lounge chairs had an ant infestation. Also, the pool was filled with bugs, spiders and human hair. I had to skip swimming due to the amount of contamination. Finally, the hotel itself needs a complete overhaul, upgrade or be renovated before I will consider staying there again or recommending anybody else.

The TV has very few channels available via Direct TV. The room's clock and microwave were non-functioning. The view of the lake was good.

Cable service was poor, telephone didn't work to call down to front desk, no weekend room service so therefore you had trash on room all weekend of you need clean linen or towels you hau to go down to front desk and request them and ice machine on our floor didn't work so we had to go to the next floor to get ice which was inconvenient.

1st room smelled of animal urine, I asked to be moved to another room which they gladly did. 2nd room had multiple water leaks from the ceiling. I told the receptionist but didn’t request another room because I didn’t want to find out what room 3 would be like.

The checking at the Hotel was very welcoming and helpful. I will stay here again!

Entire establishment had deferred maintenance that needed to be conducted. Shower handle fell off, rendering shower unusable. Shower did not drain well

The pool was filthy, we constantly were trying to clean it for them. They dumped chemicals straight in while people were in the pool. The room had filth in the corners and door jams. Not fit for small children on the floor. Had to wait 15 minutes for a front desk employee to show up to check us in.
