There is a lot of activity here, from police activity to prostitution activity. Blood trails leading to the room I rented. Roaches and spiders under the bed I got a refund and will never go back there. Try the courtyard marriot. Way cleaner and have the best organization

Nice motel 6

I booked a non smoking room as I always do because I have asthma and when I checked in after several hours of driving and opened the door the hotel room it stank badly of cigarettes and there were ashes around the ashtrays on the dresser. The registration clerk was very wand explained that it didn’t matter if booked non smoking on Expedia there were no guarantees as tor rates or rooms. Very very disappointed with the whole situation. Ari at the front desk was very nice though.

I didn’t like the poor care for the building fire alarm making noise all night in our room I also saw some bugs around d roaches. No shampoo or conditioner, also no hair dryer.

We were laying in bed when a cockroach crawled onto my son . They didn’t have any double beds left and all hotels were booked cause of graduation. Sadly they only offered a 10% discount which to me was ridiculous. I won’t be staying here again or recommend it to family members in the future. Lady at the desk was nice but feel like the company should offer them 10%discount since there’s a chance we could bring them home with us now

Older hotel and the outside looks a little dated but the room looked recently updated and was really nice and clean. It is near the highway and a train track so can be a little noisy but it didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very friendly

I was told that a lot of drug people live in here. Too much noise for pumping the door and train is ring nought and day time.

Staff were friendly and check in process was easy. The location is sketchy, we saw women walking in and out of the premise with just a handbag, we rented 2 rooms, one of them with a distinctive smell of pets mixed with waste, the other one with a scent of cigarettes and marijuana unventilated... Just stinks and miserable!! Cockroach everywhere, on the wall, on the floor, I had to farewell the one on the floor!!! Unfortunately, it was a last min reservation, I didn't have time to read the reviews nor found an accomodations which had 2 rooms available and was <6 miles away from UC Merced, except this motal 6. I would NOT return because the filthiness of the rooms and comfort level is just an nightmare and sickening! I hope the housekeeping quality can be improved.

Overall one of the nicer Motel6's I've stayed in. I regularly travel with my dogs staying a lot in Motel 6 locations - mostly around California. This room was one of the few without sticky floors, no bugs, and generally cleaner than most Motel 6 we've stayed in. The air conditioning/heating unit had also been recently replaced and looked more modern than most. I interacted with 3 staff members who were very friendly and helpful. It was noisy, but that is true for most Motel 6 (thin walls and traffic), but the person checking me in helped me get the best room available for our needs. Overall, it is a Motel 6, not a Best Western or other, more expensive chain, so don't expect too much, but it was better than many I've stayed in.

Smell of Marijuana smoke and cow pasture, combined with sounds of semi-trucks right outside our door, combined for a horrible night’s sleep

Nice enough property. interesting neighborhood. many trains running throughout the night. Costco loading dock activity began at 2AM

Clerk attitude very indifferent, barely talked. No eye contact, mumble directions. Overall the room was clean, except for the bed sheets, they looked and smelled like they were not changed. No blankets, and it was cold. A cheap bedspread was all there was to cover. And since the clerk was not friendly at all, we didn’t dare to ask for new sheets.

Handicap accessibility was terrible

Great receptionists. Easy stay. Friendly staff. A little dusty but comfy. Heater worked perfectly.

When we arrived we going around to find a parking but we found womens naked offering sex and guys came to us offering ilegal drugs

This place is clean and comfortable for a family to visit. The service at the desk was great.

Train

Gang members blocking stairway and once we open the door to our assigned room, roaches were crawling everywhere.

The room was dirty, there was stains on the bed and dead flies. I tried to get another on but they didn’t have any. They told me to call Monday to get my refund but I can’t get a hold of anyone, I left the premises right away. I was disgusted!

Motel 6 will be Motel 6 i guess rummers are true lol. Good for taking a shower, watch a bit TV and hit the road. Sleep not possible, windows need upgrade or something due to noise level... There's more but I'm not gonna comment 🤐 Staff were nice though, big thanks to them ✌️

Last minute trip. I was grateful for room which was clean and relatively quiet. Rooms are reasonably priced and if possible the helpful staff will accommodate guests requests. Close to freeway and plenty places to eat close by.

The room smelled like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. The room was dirty, there was hair on the bed that was clumped up. Extremely loud because of the freeway, very difficult to sleep.

I had to pay twice for the room
