Looked like there was too much partying prior to my stay in this room. It was a very last minute trip during labor day it was much cheaper than others and they weren’t asking for a minimum stay. It was a comfortable mattress and it was fairly clean. Walking distance to The Nest and Ale’s Mexican Restraunt. Also walking distance to a park with a lake but I would have appreciated a better looking room with a working flushable toilet. Apparently someone had removed the chain from the lever. In all honesty they to communicate between housekeepers and front desk what rooms need maintenance.

The first room we were given had mold inside and all over the toilet. We called to inform the front office, and they said they would have the maid come and clean it. After waiting a while, we decided to try and flush the toilet, it did not work. So we were moved to another room. We could hear kids running up and down the walkway/hallway throughout the afternoon. We left at the crack of dawn. You get what you pay for.

It was a horrible experience! Booked a 2 bed room online, but they didn't have it when I arrived. They stuck us in a room with only 1 bed(FULL SIZE bed for 3 people). It was the most lumpy, uncomfortable mattress I've ever encountered! One of us had to sleep on the hardwood floor. The sink was clogged, the disabled shower flooded all over the bathroom floor, the place was dirty with paint and nail polish splatters all over the desk. A/C wasn't available.

The location was decent and the room was ok especially for the price. Some of my towels still had others people's hair on them and there was hair on the floor of the room and bathroom from the previously tenet. The bed also contained hair and debris and had some mysterious stains on it. They smelled clean, but just looked kind of unsightly. However, I'm a guy so i didn’t care too much. If my girl was with me she would probably asked for another room.

I have never stayed in a more unclean and damaged hotel before. Soft water damaged walls above the shower, holes in base board, chipped flooring, spiders, half the lighting didn’t work, phone didn’t work, the tv was burning out with back lighting spots and there was bright pink paint from previous tenants on the bathroom door.

I have stayed at Motel 6 on many occasions back home for visiting family. I thought because we had visited Atascadero in the past it would be a decent experience or similar to our experience in the past. When I arrived with my family, I checked us in. My daughter was crying in the back that she wanted milk and when I asked the man who worked there he said they did not have any milk in the vending machine so I could make my daughter a bottle. When we first arrived to our room there was a group of men outside playing their music super loud and bbqing in the parking lot. We thought maybe it wouldn't matter once we got into our room and would not hear them as much. We brought our things into the room in front of the pool area with the AC system would not turn on and failed to work. The room also did not have any blankets. That is when my husband went to the front check-in office and the employee gave my husband a new room key while we waited. My husband went into the new room to check if the AC worked but when he came out he told me that the room smelled like an ashtray full of smoke. That is when I told him we couldn't stay there anymore and had to go someplace else. I just couldn't stay there with my daughter inhaling cigarette smoke in the new room.

Toilet only had one bolt! Ashley did come to fix it promptly. Burned out light bulb. Ashley fixed it promptly. Missing trash cans. Ashley brought to us promptly. Dirty towels. Location was convenient to our event.

Pros-my partner sleep exceptionally well with the quiet/white noise from A/C.We were only spending the night so can’t complain to much.Hotel conveniently located by highway.Easy on/off from highway.We were Cons-I couldn’t sleep w/the A/C noise. turned off for a bit and opened the window yet had to close it because the neighbors were smoking outside and I could smell the smoke.Seems as if some people live there permanently.

The restroom was not clean, bed was not sanitary, shower was not clean, small bugs in room. Could hear people in next room. Pool was disgusting. Had not been cleaned. Was not able to use pool. Room was not prepared when we arrived. Was given another room but it was not clean. Sorry.

Check-in was good. I had to wait for the desk clerk at check-out. Our room was already opened before we used our key. There was a hole in the bathroom door. Orher than that, easy on and off to highway, and was quiet.

Good experience

It was a rundown motel with people living in it. I found a bug in our bed, and the shower was completely dirty, and the towels were stained. Needless to say, I will never stay in a motel six again.

We actually could not stay the night because after checking in when we got to the room is full of roaches. It was horrible! They were everywhere: under the mini fridge, on the carpets, on the phone, and on top of one of the beds. Disgusting place. Would never go back and recommend everyone to avoid this place.

There were bugs and nats in room. Had to keep air on high to keep them off. They were all in bed and everything. The bathroom door knob was broken and wouldn’t shut. The phone was not working to call customer service. And when told all they said was they were booked and no other rooms were available. I took pictures of all of it even bugs in bed. Horrible place to stay!!

We booked 3 rooms for a family trip. 1 of the rooms was not cleaned, 1 other room smelt like weed & the other rooms AC did not cool down the room all night. Beds were uncomfortable. Pool was not working due to high water levels. Horrible-will NOT stay here again.

this was the worst service and worst hotel out of 500 plus hotels I've ever stayed at. Pay more and go to anything but here. Sleep in your car it would be better.

Customer service was excellent! For the affordable price, it was good. Clean room, organized towels, and soap. We just needed a place to shower and nap. It was sufficient for us.

There was hair in the drain, the shower is just one stream of water, the window was moldy, the floors were disgusting, the toilet hardly flushed, the door was even peeling. Never again!

I got two rooms and the first room was very hot and the air conditioning was broken but they did bring me a swamp cooler but it still remained hot in the room. Also on the second room we saw roaches and it was so discussed that I was not able to stay there, I told the lady at the front desk and she understood that I was not going to stay in those room so we left .

Got to the property, and there were no rooms available although we had a reservation. We had to leave our number but hours later we still didn’t get a call for an available room.

When I checked in the guy at the front desk said that the AC did not work, that it broke that day and that they hadn't had time to fix it. This was in the summer when the temperature that day was over 90 degrees. It wasn't that bad because it cools off at night but they didn't even offer a discount at all. When I first got into my room it was extremely hot. Would have been smart to open the rooms to them them cool off. Aside from that, you can tell ownership doesn't put any money into this place. Everything is broken and put together in a makeshift way rather than just replacing things.The lock on my door didn't even work. You could literally just push my door open. I had to use the manual lock and put something in front of my door. People in the room next to me checked in around 11pm. They were partying/drinking with their phone on the balcony blasting music. This was right outside my door. Keep in mind, I wanted to have the window open because it was so hot but I couldn't because of the loud music. There really wasn't anything about this place that was even decent. I wouldn't pay $50 to stay here again.
