Charged premium price for cheap motel room. King mattress on Queen frame and headboard that was nailed to the wall. No carpenter skills what so ever.. Dresser drawer repeatedly opened without assistance (not leveled furniture). Hot water did not work and when it finally did heat (after 10+ mins) it was scolding no way to control temperature. Called the front desk BEFORE closing and no one answered - had to leave a message and NEVER received a call back. Next day another clerk told me, “oh you should’ve come to the office” like really?? I just stood freezing my a$& off waiting for hot water and you want me to walk to the front desk when no one answered??! We were so tired after our 5 hour drive, we just wanted to sleep as best we could and checked out first thing (6am) the very next morning. Not a good place to stay. Not represented correctly!!

Clean, comfortable room with great view of bay. Paddle boards and kayaks available for play on the water. Office staff is so helpful and keeps coffee, tea, and cocoa ready at all times. Easy location to find and a great place to relax and play.

The check in lady was not nice- the pool is ok but lots of people there in a group taking over playing loud music. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Used the bikes- they work but are run down. Lady at the desk when we checked out was very helpful and friendly. Ok place at reasonable price for 1 night. Wouldn’t stay longer,

The property is a below average property for the cost what you are paying . Not happy with the property.

I was pleasantly surprised on how updated it was. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly. I did not like that there were steps up into the room. I kept thinking I would fall, particularly with a heavy bag. You had to get pool towels from the front desk. I did not try the pool. They offered kayak's to use on the canal side, but I did not try that either. The pictures on the website show a beach. There is no beach on property; you have to drive to the beach, which you have to pay for parking. I recommend this property and I would stay again if in the area.

Mold in bathroom. Shower drained clogged/too slow. Room did not compare at all to the posted pictures.
