We arrived after a 3-day hiking trip in the Pirin National Park, dirty and tired, so the spa of the hotel was a pleasant experience. The room was nice and clean, with good coffe available in the room which was welcome after drinking Nescafe for a few days. The breakfast buffét had lots of options and everything was as expected on this point from one of the best hotels in Bansko.

Very good stay right on the ski slopes, great wellness facilities after days of skiing. Outstanding breakfast. Very professional and helpful staff. Probably better visited outside school holidays as it gets very busy and slopes are crowded.

The hotel has no air conditioning so beware if you go in the summer...it can be very uncomfortable.

I didn't like the spa facilities for the price we paid. The water in the central pool was cold and it was too small. I have been in other hotels in Bansko with much better spa. Also employees without masks and not so friendly. After that, I would choose another hotel in the area with better price.

Beautiful scenery and amazing staff did this place!

We had overall a great stay and would go back. The staff was amazing as well as the food from the various restaurants. Spa area and treatments were good, I would highly recommend Thai anti stress massage. Only downside was too many children running around and playing in the spa area.

This is a very nice property set in a fine location overlooking the Pirin mountains and next to the ski lift (although I went in the off-season). The property was pretty empty because of Covid but the staff were very attentive and trying to keep up good spirits in spite of the depressing situation, with limited business and a worrying spike in cases in Bulgaria. I would highly recommend this hotel, even if you don't go in the ski season. The views of the Pirin mountains are spectacular. There are walks and other activities from the doorstep. The spa is very nice with indoor and outdoor facilities that are on a par with what you might find in Thailand. There is a fine dining restaurant that seems to attract the finest trainee chefs and waitstaff from the area, as the standard of food and service was very good, especially for the price. The rooms are maybe a little dated now but still good and have nice balconies. It is also a 10-minute walk from the main street in Bansko with many more restaurants (although most were closed when I visited). In better times, a great place to go for a holiday in the Pirin mountains.

We’ve stayed in 100s of hotels and Kempinski has been one of the very best! We stayed in a very big and nice room with the most amazing view overlooking the mountains and the piste right below us. We’ve also enjoyed the spa facilities at the hotel, which we also liked very much! Staff were very friendly, especially the guy who checked us in and the guy (Antonio) who checked us out. We’re definitely coming back in the future!

I booked for a twin beds room and we got a double one, but I didn’t complain since it was a short stay.The cleaning of the room was not as we expected. The mattress on the bad was too hard for me… Anyhow the location of the hotel and the view of the rooms with mountain view was excellent. The breakfast is also very good with excellent variety of food. I can comment only that the bread and croissants were not as fresh as one can expect from a 5* hotel.

Amazing Spa with several saunas and pools! Breakfast was also amazing. Rooms very spacious and even with a bath tub, the style is just a bit old-fashioned but I suppose that this is what the winter guests like. Only everything that is extra (mini-bar, massage, washing service) is like 5-10 times the price than outside the hotel, which seems too much.

All staff and facilities excellent but could provide better for Vegans, with at least a choice from each selection at breakfast.

A truly wonderful - great rooms, breakfast and spa area. Autumn prices made it a real bargain. Only thing I didn't like: they charge for parking even when the parking is made in the adjacent ski gondola parking which is closed and therefore free of charge off season.
