Great hotel in superb location

Had an issue with the room type that was booked but was resolved quickly and satisfactorily by staff who were very helpful.

We had a nice stay at the Hotel de la Plage. Our room was on the 4th floor but was quite small. It was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. It was very quiet but what would you expect in early March?

The service was amazing, our room was small but very Confortable and we had a lovely balcony that faced the street. We went in Feb, so it was low season, and the street was very peaceful. Location wise it's so close to the main train station, 5 min walk! And just as close to the pedestrian streets close to the beach. Really good. We had a small issue with our shower and we got an amazing upgrade to a lovely suite room. They were very kind and attentive and lovey to chat to. Would definitely come again.

The hotel is very easy to access by car and has good and free parking (you can book a garage space for an extra fee). The check in was efficient and friendly in both French and English as required. The COVID-19 regulations are simple, well communicated and easy to follow. The room was very clean and tidy with a nice style that suited Arcachon. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom clean and big by French standards. The hotel is not on the beach but it is a two minute walk away so no problem at all there. We really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend!

We were able to occupy our room when we arrived at 12.30pm which was great and were met by a very friendly person at reception. The room was very clean and it was nice to have a kettle and tea bags and two buns left each day in the room. A fridge would have been handy but overall we had a good stay and location was perfect.

We have been to Arcachon before but stayed on the edge of town. The main road in suffers from long traffic jams so we decided to stay in town. This hotel proved to be a lucky find, despite costing a bit more than we normally pay. Location excellent, everything only a short walk away. Both secure undergroung parking (for a fee) and free outside parking are available. The staff are excellent, the desk is manned 24 hours, some speak english, one senior member is English (bilingual). Breakfast first class. Room quite small but larger than many in France, small safe in room, kettle etc but no fridge. The bathroom was small but stylish with a very good shower (again a rarity in parts of France). The balcony was small but adequate and the air-con coped with temperatures in the mid 30's. Wi-Fi was patchy but again adequate. Overall, for the price, one of the best rooms we have had in France.

Great location, fresh bedrooms, super clean, decent gym, fab breakfast buffet and super lovely staff

Being able to park on-site, in an area where parking can be very difficult, was what drew us to this hotel. We are pleased we stayed there as the location is good, the room was very comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Room 312, with its calm decor and wide glass patio doors opening to the little balcony, is one of the prettiest and most comfortable rooms we have stayed in while visiting France.In fact, situated on a picturesque street, the entire hotel is quite lovely,The staff were remarkably friendly. The breakfast was delicious.There was nothing to dislike.

Convenient location for the town, the beach and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff and very comfortable room with balcony. Second time here and will probably return later this year.

Close to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Clean, modern rooms. Rooms are small but alright for the price. Free parking.

Arcachon has fantastic beaches and sea-front restaurants, and Hotel de la Plage is just a short walk from both. The hotel is modern and clean. Good buffet-style breakfast. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had a car so the free parking at the hotel was very welcome, but next time we would probably go by train - fast and frequent service fom Bordeaux and the station is about 10min walk from the hotel.

A good hotel to visit Arcachon and surrounding area. It is rather basic not having a bar nor restaurant, but is more than adequate for a short stay. Good bed, clean linen and everything worked as it should.

Hotel was very conveniently located to the boardwalk and downtown shops and restaurants and a grocery store. We had a little patio, which is always nice because rooms in France are generally small. Modern bathroom and WIFI worked. Large patio downstairs off lobby to sit outside and watch the world go by. Parking was available but very tight. Staff was very friendly and spoke English.

We stayed at Hotel de la Plage on Bastille Day after two weeks in a rental apartment. Our room was charming and had an ultra-modern euro-style bath. Staff is minimal but they provide what you need if you ask. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Reasonably priced at high season.

Very helpful staff, Excellent location, Wonderfully situated room with unexpected two chair & table balcony, Comfortable bed, Hot water heater for coffee/tea, A number of nice little touches - candy on pillow, small packets of tea or coffee, etc.
