My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary weekend. Jerliyn and Mike were the most gracious hosts and made us feel like we were staying with family. The house is beautifully decorated and the breakfast prepared by Jerilyn was delicious. We plan on coming to stay here again just to be in the house and not necessarily to see the local sites lol.

The property and the owners are terrific. The attention to detail was amazing and the food and pampering was beyond any expectations. I would strongly recommend this property for anyone coming near Statesville it would be worth a trip off of your route to experience this property.

The owners were friendly and inviting. They had a refrigerator stocked with various sodas, water, and beer and a snack tray all for free. In the evening they even set out a couple of bottles of wine and pastry treats for the guest. When I mentioned that I was diabetic, they made a special trip to the store to get sugar-free syrup for breakfast. speaking of which, their breakfast meals were wonderfully prepared. it was like dining in a 3-Star Michelin restaurant just outside your room. The House is a beautifully restored 1917 period home with a very inviting and homely feel. It was like visiting a family friend to stay there.

Property has a lot of character and is very clean. Much better than a hotel off of the highway. Owners are very personable and greeted us on arrival. We were able to walk to a nice restaurant for dinner in the evening and enjoyed a great breakfast the next morning served by the owners. Overall a very enjoyable stay in a small N.Carolina town.

Mike and Jerilyn were the absolute best hosts and the inn was so pleasant and offered so many amenities. We were pleasantly surprised at every turn. So many nice areas both inside and outside to relax, a very nice room, excellent breakfast. I could go on and on.

The owners, Mike and Jerilyn are a lovely couple. Very welcoming. The Inn is quiet and beautifully decorated. And the breakfast was delicious! We will definitely stay again.

We drove from VA to pickup a Ragdoll kitten for my daughter 6 hrs to and from. We checked in past business hrs. The place was immaculate and very well kept. Parking was onsite which made things easier. Owners were very kind and friendly and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our room had it all: extra blankets,makeup remover wipes, fan. Very detailed oriented. Definitely will visit again!

Very comfortable and warm welcoming accommodations. The refreshments refrigerator was a very nice touch and much appreciated after a day on the road. The breakfast on the back porch with another couple was very enjoyable and delicious. The pumpkin pancakes, omelette, fruit, hash browns topped off a fantastic stay! We will return for another stay in the future.

what a great place and you get around to anywhere by walking.. Went to downtown and walked around. This place was warming and comfortable and people were great. They had food and Max the great cat..

Very historic and well-maintained. Carriage House was nicely appointed with a large master bedroom/sitting room and an extra bedroom upstairs with an en-suite bath. Innkeeper was personable and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, biscuits, quiche, bacon, etc. Would definitely recommend this B & B

We loved staying here. Lori was an amazing hostess and we will definitely be staying again next time we come to visit. The home is beautiful.

This was our first stay at a B&B, and we loved it! Lori is a superb hostess and cook. We felt welcome from the time she greeted us at the door. She even inquired about food preferences for breakfast. Her home is beautiful and our room was well-appointed and cozy. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area.

LOOK NO FURTHER - We're not usually B&B stayers, but this place changed our opinion. Beautifully kept and maintained, super clean, wonderful breakfast, and a wonderful host! Lori was so kind and accommodating. Statesville is a great little town with a nice downtown. There's a number of nice big old homes if you walk around as well.

Found the inn online after originally booking one of the chain hotels on the highway. Boy was I happy to have switched. What a pleasant stay. The historical inn has been beautifully restored and the room I stayed in was extremely comfortable, with a nice bed, cheerful decorations, lots of amenities and the jet bath was a nice bonus. Location is fantastic, only minutes away from the downtown core of restaurants and bars. Wi-Fi was fast, parking was on premises and I could easily come and go as needed, even when returning later in the evening. There are ample amenities (beverages, snacks) available and are complimentary. That's a very nice touch. I was welcomed upon arrival by Max who was really friendly and was always eager to greet me - real southern hospitality! You might meet Lori as well who gave me a tour of the premises and prepared wonderful breakfasts every morning. What a great stay - I came here on business and will not only stay again but will recommend to our organization that future visitors stay here for a pleasant experience.

This bed and breakfast was great. Lori the innkeeper was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with its own bathroom with jets in the tub. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The wifi was fast and the breakfasts were great. There was a fridge with complimentary drink including beer and wine. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we'll worth the money.

Just lovely- carriage house was perfect for our family and breakfast was fabulous! Wonderful!
