This property is located in the heart of Hamburg. There is air conditioning in the rooms but it doesn't cool the room adequately. Hallways and elevators are extremely warm. Parking is not very convenient but there are ample parking spaces available in a nearby garage. Bedding very comfortable and rooms are quiet. I would stay at this property again.

Building very kew, there are some room in the annexe with bath out side. The room in the main building are good. Bath quite small the shower is very little due the oldness of the building. The lobby and breakfast room are in the same ambient. They are friendly. People very kind and helpfull. Just few meter there is a good restaurant. Position in very good you can reach all momuntes and point of interest al least in 10 min by foot. At 4 min there is the railway station. Around there are lots of store, restaurants, cafe. The street is very silence in the night.

This boutique inn is a wonderful place to explore Aarhus. You are within walking distance of everything and the hotel is a great respite after a long day exploring. You could not ask for a better location. The backyard gardens have smaller sitting areas throughout. The rooms are well appointed, albeit a little small with two suitcases, and the ensuite has everything you need. Front desk staff were terrific, particularly in terms of guiding us to use the discounted parking the hotel has arranged with the department store Magasin. Lots of local dining options around so we did not eat in the restaurant attached, but if you do request a room with a garden view be on notice that there will be some noise from that in the evening. The one suggestion that I would have is that the hotel not allow any guests to smoke on its outside terraces -- that smoke goes into guests rooms and is pretty unpleasant. The garden should be reserved for smoking guests.

Great stay, my favourite hotel in Aarhus. Breakfast is varied and interesting and it’s sustainable approach is excellent. It could do with a few comfort and interior improvements in places.

Everything was perfect!

Super cozy hotel! A lot of Scandinavian hotels are very spartan, but this one had a fabulous 4 poster bed, nice decorations, and a general cozy feel. The breakfast was delicious and the surrounding area was funky, safe, and had good food options. The hotel is eco friendly in a subtle way that doesn't feel like deprivation--nice toiletries in large bottles, for instance. Walkable to Aarhus University.

Located in the center of Aarhus. Great atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. No elevator, which can be a drag if you have lots of luggage, like we did. Would stay there again.

Lovely eco-hotel in superb location; individual, high quality room finishes, friendly staff and helpful (getting an iron etc for me). Breakfast has to be booked in one hour slots due to limited space; or you have to eat outside but very nice place to stay! Great restaurant (separate from the hotel) right below too.

We thoroughly enjoyed Aarhus and the Guldsmedan hotel. The breakfast was superb. The garden was lovely with tables set up. Several nights we bought a package of gravlox some excellent bread and a bottle of wine. We ate outside and enjoyed it highly. The staff were extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
