Stayed for 2 nights, absolutely blown away by the excellent service by the staff and quality of space available to me. Beautiful room, dining area, patio, and amazing location. I did not have the opportunity to have breakfast either mornings but was pleasantly surprised after offered breakfast to last me my long trip home.

Not enough ways to offer enough stars. The Sylvan Inn was everything we hoped and more. Beautifully restored while maintaining the charm of an older home, perfect location, outstanding breakfast and overall care from the owners. Can't wait to return!

My wife and I stayed for 2 days to relax and take in the scenery along the banks of Lake Michigan and to check out other places. We really enjoyed checking out the lighthouses around the area. The staff allowed us to change the breakfast menu as we didn’t prefer some food on it.

Lovely, charming bed and breakfast. Comfortable rooms, location was perfect with walking distance to downtown and close to bike/hiking trails. Beach was also walking distance. Staff was very pleasant and food was delicious.
Would definitely stay here again. Excellent location.

Charming Glen Arbor historic property with a delightful staff and good food located in town and a short walk to everything. Across the street from Serbin Real Estate if you are shopping real estate in the Leelanau . . . a 5 star boutique realtor with superb service! Enjoy!

The Sylvan Inn is a comfortable, friendly, and historic bed & breakfast in Glen Arbor, very close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan, and Glen Lake -- an absolutely gorgeous setting for many kinds of outdoor adventures. It's walkable to the shops and restaurants in Glen Arbor, and breakfast was consistently delicious. Great porch for relaxing too, and a convivial place to make new friends while traveling.

Well run...never saw the innkeepers, but all of our needs were taken care of. Guests were respectful of each other. Love the hiking trails and scenic beauty around the inn.

Wonderful B&B very convenient to all the awesome sights in Sleeping Bear Dunes and within walking distance to all the downtown restaurants and bars and stores in Glen Arbor. Extremely friendly owners and highly recommend a stay to enjoy this very special gem of an inn

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sylvan inn. It was very cozy and like being at home (without having to make the coffee or breakfast). Everyone was personable and accommodating. We will definitely look interesting here again if we return to Glen Arbor to visit the dunes.

Staying at the Sylvan Inn was like going to your best friend’s house. Our room was cozy and included a sitting area. The Inn’s porch (OMG) was perfect for relaxing with a drink in the evening or eating breakfast. We would go back again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic stay at Sylvan Inn, the host is very nice and accommodating, made fabulous breakfast for us in the morning, the location is perfect, walkable to the center of the town, also only a short drive to sleeping bear dunes; the only downside is the shared bathroom, but if you don’t mind sharing, then it’s not a problem at all, it’s clean and tidy; and I would definitely choose this same place if I plan another trip to the dunes

It was a wonderful experience. It was very clean and the check-in checkout process was very easy and smooth. We had breakfast served to us in the morning out on the large porch which wraps around the entire Inn. Great location right in town with walking distance to many restaurants

We absolutely loved our stay! Jim and Laurie are wonderful hosts. They were so attentive to our needs and offered tips on places to park for events and things to do. The house is an historical property but extremely well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The huge wrap around porch was great for breakfast, quiet reading or chatting with other guests. Located just on the edge of Glen Arbor, it was an easy walk to shopping, dining, and viewing sunsets on the bay. Unique to this week was the 4th of July parade. Unique, goofy, patriotic, and so much fun! Americana at it's best!

We love the location - so close to fun shops and and restaurants! We enjoyed breakfast on the porch the mornings we were there before heading out to explore the area.

Not enough good things to say about The Sylvan Inn and its staff. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. The made-to-order breakfast the next day was fantastic. Choice of eggs, fresh fruit, bacon, and homemade sourdough bread--can't be beat. Felt like I was staying at a relative's house with the hospitality. 10/10 would recommend.
