Great reception. Easy access from elevator

We stayed here for two nights, using it as a home base to explore Vancouver Island from Nanaimo to Courtenay-Comox. While there would have been more opportunity to use all the amenities in the summer (kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, etc.), we used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed the secure underground parking. The balcony was a really good size, and would have been great to spend more time on in the summer. The mattresses seemed very sunken - not sure if they were worn out or designed to be very soft - but I would have preferred something with more support. Also, the kettle in our room wasn't working, but the coffee maker was fine. Overall we had just what we needed in this hotel (and it was quiet, as far as hotels go), and I can imagine it would be a great experience in the summer with the private beach.

Overall we had an amazing stay, food at the restaurant was so good we had the steak and it was super tender, only thing i would change was parking in the underground its definitely lacks spots and space its very tight in there, but besides that it was an amazing visit and will come again

Excellent front desk service. Wonderful food in the dining room, although at luxury hotel prices. Beautiful quiet beach location. Only real disppointments were a noisy air conditioning system in the room and an older (non-smart) model of TV so couldn’t stream Netflix etc. As an EV driver I was impressed they had a number of free-to-use chargers.

We will visit again. Great location, helpful and friendly service, paddle boards, kayaks etc available, great restaurant in hotel, comfortable room, enjoyed the balcony, EV charging stations in underground. Safe, secure, clean, comfortable. Proximity to park for kids is a bonus.

Excellent place, even the rooms not directly facing the water have great views. Kayak rentals are very limited, if you want one make sure to book it ahead of time at the desk. Would be good if they had a few more.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
Beach access was convenient, and access to beach toys, chairs and wagons was a unexpected option. There was, however, a tray of food that was left out in the hall for the duration of our stay, which was a bit offputting. There were also people camped out front of the hotel enternace to the beach, which turned our luxury stay into a cautious feeling of security. Overall, it was a good experience. The beach was beauitful.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach Resort. The staff were lovely and friendly, helped with any queries. It was ace to have all the beach accessories available to borrow - chairs, body boards etc. The boy's really enjoyed the metal detector! Great size room for a family of four with two queen beds.and a terrace. Pacific Brimm Cafe was a lovely coffee/breakfast spot!

Waterfront property with the most convenient beach access. Enough beach supplies at the hotel that you don't really need to bring anything yourself (beach umbrellas, chairs, wagons, beach toys, kayaks/paddleboards etc). Kitchen well equipped.

Loved how you can literally walk out to the beach! Enjoyed how we have access to our own laundry and a full kitchen for longer stays in our suite. Only downside is that the parking fills up fast but they do have valet. Would recommend!

Nice rooms, super comfortable beds, beautiful views !!! Had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and can you believe the filet mignon was actually tastier than the KEG for the same price. I also won some points by sending both my wife and daughter to the Stonewater Spa. All in all it was fabulous.

Kids enjoyed the pool. Fantastic view from the 9th floor. I appreciated the complimentary beach equipment which was awesome. Staff were extra friendly and helpful as well. It’s a little higher in n price but really there are no comparable options in the area.

My favourite property in Parksville in any season. We love it for the location - beachfront and next to the community park is perfect for famillies with little ones. Also the food in the restaurant has vastly improved in the last year or so. Everything we had was delicious - especially the shrimp and crab Cobb Salad, the chicken wings and the Tapsilog at breakfast. Highly recommend!
