It was a good stay. Room was clean and comfortable

Great location to see downtown new orleans and surrounding areas without actually being right downtown. Quiet and peaceful stay.

My stay here was...interesting. Booking though hotels.com, I was unable to have points added to my account but, I get it. The issue was the constant, "You booked through a third party" that was stated repeatedly as if it was a bad thing. When I stay at a hotel, I always check the room and beds. My bed had stains on the sheets, several spots on the fitted sheet that looked like oil or some type of clear stain. The room was not the cleanest. Under the sink needed to be cleaned as there was dirt accumulated in the corners. Also, there was someone's hair on the sink near the faucet. To top it all of, we got locked in the room while there. The top lock wouldn't bend to let us out. After several attempts, I had to push the lock back. It was supposed to get fixed but it didn't while we were there. This was just a bad experience. I will say, since I booked through a third party, I wasn't able to be compensated but, I was allowed to get a free soda. Maybe your experience will be different, better. Good luck!

Clean, safe, very attentive and almost felt like home

The room was decent and the AC worked great which was nice due to the heat and humidity. The staff was friendly but the day after I checked in I told them that the safe in to room was locked when we got there. I had to tell them 2 more times before they came to resolve it 2 days later. Also the room did not get serviced the 3rd day. I let the staff know and that wasn’t an issue again during the rest of the stay.
