I visited this place ten years ago and was surprised that a lot has changed. The staff did not replace our towels and were not as friendly as I remember. Not sure I will ever visit again

I felft discrimination with Indian/ Asian people with European people They didn’t respond well to us Looking to the prise facility were negligible

Great location with great views of the mountains. Restaurant was convenient and it was easy to get around the whole town. Highly recommend!

Hotel seems recently renovated and clean , we had 2 bathrooms one with a shower and one with a tub , front desk arranged our room key situation since we where checking in very late night also help with luggage transfer to nearest train station, dinner was very good also.

Very kind staff. Beautiful location with a view of the mountains at breakfast. Breakfast was perfect. They offered to hold our bags so that we could hike on our last day in the area and really cared about our experience in the area.

I loved this hotel! It's beautiful, the people were very nice, and the rooms were lovely and clean. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was amazing and the view was even better. We also had dinner at the hotel since we couldn't find anywhere else to eat because there were no reservations available, which was fine with us because the food in the restaurant was great! my mom had the salad and the kraut salat tasted just how my oma made it so definitely has my seal of approval. The common room with the fireplace was so cozy. When I was there the embers were dying and I asked one of the ladies to put another log on. She said that the soapstone fireplace would get too hot so she said no which was fine but as I was sitting in front of the embers one of the men who worked there put in another log and the same lady walked in. I think she thought I asked the guy to put another log in after she told me no but I didn't! So if she reads this I swear I didn't pull a "mom said no so I'll ask dad." Nevertheless I can't wait to stay in Hotel Edelweiss again!

What a view! One of the most breathtaking in the world. And we really enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the lounge every evening. The woman at the front desk was really gracious and helpful.

This really is a large bed and breakfast in terms of the family atmosphere, friendly staff and community vibe. Murren is THE town to stay in and this is THE place to soak in all that the Alps has to offer with a very reasonable price point (especially for Switzerland).

Our stay was amazing. The receptionist let us into our room a few hours early. She gave good advice upon checkout. The food in the restaurant food was delicious but the service was not very good at all. That was our only complaint.

Most awesome view from room. Words can’t fully describe being on the edge of a 3,000 foot cliff, staring across a narrow valley at a13,000 foot high wall of mountains! Once in a lifetime!

We had a great stay and this was a comfortable hotel to stay at The views were amazing and it was easy to navigate to.

Getting into Murren requires you to take a series of trains and a gondola to get there, but so worth it. The town is quaint and lovely and the hotel is within 5 min walk from train station. We had a panorama view of the mountains, and it was amazing. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

Comfy and cozy room. Amazing views with a standard panorama room. Breakfast was wonderful with an assortment of meats, cheeses, coffees. Would definitely stay here again.
