The property is nice however there is no ramp outside so you have to carry your suitcases up stairs. The checkin person was very cold. Not interested in answering questions about where we could get good or even the best way to get to the airport. We had a hard time getting hot water in our room and tried to call the front desk but he never answered so we had to go down to get him. There was one restaurant in walking distance- Chinese and it was very good. Do not expect a lot from any customer service people as they are all slow and meals can take an hour to come out ;even pizza). The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom shower had no door or curtain and water filled the entire floor almost into the bedroom area.

Ideally placed to walked to walk around the city and with that a lovely hotel service. Great stay thanks for the memory’s

Very spacious room with sleek design and modern fittings. The immediate area is not particularly interesting but its only a 12 minute walk to the old town which is vibrant and full of interesting architecture.

The room looks very nice and comfortable, but there has to be a warning paper on the door of the bathroom, because the high step might be quite dangerous for older people (and even young ones!). Something like MIND THE STEP !

It’s a decent hotel, recently refurbished. The room was clean, a decent size and the bed was comfortable. There were a couple of negatives. There was quite a bit of noise during our stay. The hotel is situated just off a main busy road, and with the room being quite warm when you opened the window the traffic noise was very loud. There was an air condition unit in the room but no way of conrolling it. There was also a dog in the garden opposite our room that barked continually and we were in a room directly above the restaurant - and you could hear the door opening and closing constantly. But the main problem was the shower that was really poor. No matter how you held it or tried the different settings it just poured out like a tap, making it difficult to shower

The sheets are pressed and beautiful. The pillows are down:). The bathrooms are new and immaculate. Elevator is a plus for heavy luggage.

Spacious room, clean with a mini bar and toiletries. No intercom which was particularly annoying as it was hot and there was no remote for the air conditioner. Their kitchen wasn’t open as it was ‘Easter’ (different time from the rest of the world) so I had to go into town which is about 15-20mins from hotel. Guy at reception gave off the air of exasperation even though he was helpful

We booked a junior suite and I was impressed. A very decent sized room and for the money it was excellent value, I think we paid around £35. The room was very clean and modern and I would absolutely recommend it as an alternative for staying right in the old town itself. The hotel itself doesnt really have any facilities and the area is residential and quiet but you can walk to the main town square in about 15 minutes or a short taxi ride away.

We stayed only for one night , but this Hotel is siutable for a long stay. Airport is also near, aproxx 15min by car

It was a great experience. Very happy with the hotel. It is well positioned walking to the city center. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The stuff was very friendly and polite. I highly recommend this hotel

Had a fabulous room (Junior Suite) breakfast was good and location OK. Parking is available for a couple of cars, though when we stayed the whole area was being dug up! That said, we got a spot out in the street and left the car there. A 15 min walk down into town, which means an uphill walk back. Taxis mercifully are very cheap.

A relaxing break which was much needed. Good for eating and drinking out. Central Park is a must visit

Very clean hotel, huge rooms, very helpful staff, 20 mins left out of the hotel walking to town, 20 mins right out of the hotel to subway,Lidl and Marty's sport bar

Having lived in Cluj 13 years ago I had never stayed in a hotel there. We were so pleased with our lovely, modern accommodations. We had a twin room with a large bay window. The desk clerks were more than helpful and always smiling. Whoever did the décor at Hotel Confort did an excellent job.
