Lovely stay, very nice room, friendly front desk staff.

Had a good stay, Deer Valley definitely doesn’t live up to the hype. Not a 5 star resort nor would I say they were even friendly. Way over priced. Bottom line is that it is a resort that goes to beat of it’s own drum charges 30-40% more than they should and everyone else be dammed.

The specious rooms and fireplace. Hottub and shower with 3 shower heads was a treat

The availibility of transportation.

We had a short stay with he purpose to have a place to sleep so cannot say much about amenities etc. place looked wonderful at a glance. However we were in 6401 this past weekend and did not sleep a wink. There was an adjoining door that was locked and the people were awful. Singing at the top of their lungs “happy birthday” in the middle of the night??? Kids screaming all night long and loud talking, etc. clearly not very considerate people but that is not the establishment’s fault, but the thin walls are. They sounded like they were in bed with us. Will never stay there again.

Property was clean , comfortable bed and clean linen. The microwave, toaster and coffee machine were a huge help. They also had silverware in the room so did not have to use plastic. It would be helpful to have dishwashing soap but besides that we loved our stay.

Decor

I absolutely loved my stay at Silver Baron Lodge! Lovely and large hotel room on fourth floor overlooking the pond across the street. Super comfortable bed, nice linens, fabulous bathtub. One of my favorite parts about my stay was being able to access the hiking trails right behind the lodge that I think go all the way to the top of the mountain. Well maintained trails perfect for trail running. I have already booked another stay here for October. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looks sparkling clean and there were lots of families with kids enjoying it. I also did not use the free transportation that the lodge provides, maybe next time.

Friendly helpful staff! The beds and bedding are luxury quality. Espresso /coffee machine in lobby was a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommend!!!!

The suite was simply excellent. Extremely comfortable and convenient. We definitely want to come back.

This is very conveniently located to the main Deer Valley base area and is a very nice facility. A beautiful marsh area with ponds and walking pathways is directly in front of the property, and a deli/grocery store sits on the other side serving gourmet breakfast and lunch options. Our hotel room was very comfortable and the direct transportation service offered by the hotel was very convenient. The public buses also stop nearby so having a car was not necessary. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but they did allow us an early checkout time to make up for it. Staff were very nice, and the room and bed were nice. We had expected some sort of breakfast, but there was none - not even liquid creamer for the coffee. There were no coffee filters, so we used a paper towel. The coffee was awful (maybe because of the paper towel or the powdered creamer), so we had to go to Starbuck's. The TV remote didn't work, and it tool them quite a while to fix it. There were also NO movie channels, the list of programs and channels didn't connect with the real channels (i.e., if something was listed on channel 11 and you typed in 11, it stayed on the same channel. All in all, very frustrating!

Great room with plenty of space. It was clean and had a nicely supplied kitchen with cookware and dishes you may need. We loved the heated pool with the water slide. It was peaceful and has a duck pond and trail just across the street that was perfect for a morning walk. I think the only thing that would have been nice to have had, would be a fold out bed option in the loft and maybe some board games. We enjoyed our much needed get away!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Silver Baron lodge. The condo was spacious and well appointed. When we arrived there wasn’t any furniture on our patio but the staff quickly brought some furniture within minutes when requested. We particularly enjoyed spending time outside on the patio and in the private hot tub. An added bonus was that the pool was wonderful and virtually empty. Silver Baron Lodge was amazing. We went there for a quick getaway over the weekend and it ended up feeling like a 10 day vacation. We came back feeling so relaxed and ready to go

It was very convenient. It could be a bit noisy at times....I could hear other guests who were not being loud. Beautiful location. Great stay!!

So pleasantly surprised to find the Silver Baron Lodge for my recent ski trip to Deer Valley. Our double room was spacious, clean, bed so comfy, quiet and nice! But the best part of our stay was the superior staff. I have never had such great service from the front desk - they responded to our text messages within - no joke - 30 seconds - accommodated our every request - and giving us valued suggestions to make our trip more enjoyable. I am used to staying at 5 star properties and admittedly nervous about a "3.5" star property - but it was the most enjoyable experience that exceeded my expectations by a lot! Definitely stay here! And Tav, at the front desk, is the most delightful and helpful Manager/concierge ever!

Front desk staff always very helpful. We had them book great restaurants for dinners and arrange transportation which was all courtesy.
