Neighbors were sort of noisy. The room was dated. The room was clean, basic and very plain. The room amenities could be brought up to the 20th century. The hotel guy was nice. If I owned the place I would remodel the whole inside of every room. Lamps don’t work. When you get that look from the wife that you might have brought her to a scary motel. lol!!!

Very scary the office where I checked in was very dirty low class and stunk. I would never stay there again I did not even feel safe there were people living there that was on house arrest very low class place

Another place to avoid due to the low income housing of these people who don’t work, sell drugs, and keep you up all night.

I arrived and went to check-in and the office was locked with no indication of how to contact someone. A hotel guest sitting outside found a phone number for me as internet wouldn't load on my phone to see the reservation
My room was clean. The bed was as hard as a rock. Definitely do not recommend

The person running the place was good. The room was clean. The bathroom needed a lot of repair around the tub and towel. The exterior was very run down.

Room needed maintenance - water stained ceiling tiles, broken tiles in bathroom. No tissues, hair dryer, iron or ironing board.

Not at all what I expected given the location. It looked like there were permanent tenants there. The desk clerk had to call management for help as her English wasn't that good.

The bathtub was not clean. The walls are thing. The family that runs the place is very nice though. Good for a cheap one night stay.

There is a reason why it has such a good price not the worst place I have stayed at but needs to be updated and in better condition.

Independent motel, somewhat dated but clean with updated bathroom. Gentleman who assisted me was lovely. Short visit to Bennington to visit an elderly family member. Convenient, although I wish I could find better coffee close by. I launched early morning on low grade.

I wish, though, that there was a safety bar in each shower. I am in my 70s and I fear falling when entering and exiting a tub or shower, when there is not a handle that I can grab, to improve my stability.

This is a perfect hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Bennington. They offer wifi fridge and microwave so you have all you could need staying over. It's right near downtown. It's an older hotel but holds up well

We were finishing our trip from Florida and needed a stop for needed sleep. There were few amenities but we were only looking for a warm, comfortable place for the night. We got an early start and were soon close enough to our destination for another break.

Check in was easy & quick. Front desk lady was welcoming. Building looks old, but my room looks like it was recently renovated and kept clean. The room is large with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
It’s very quiet area with stores, restaurants nearby.

While it is an older property, the checkin was easy. The staff very professional. The price was right and the location perfect to jump to three different ski mountains. Will stay again.

The room it self was out dated but the bathroom was newly remodeled. I felt the room was clean but it lacked things like kleenex. The office was kind of dummpy looking which did not give a great first impression.

Very clean and comfortable. Handy parking right outside the door. Choices of places to eat within short driving distance. Only negative… I could hear voices from neighboring room. Excellent price. Will definitely stay again on next trip.

Lots of well-done upgrades to an older motel - not fancy but clean, convenient, and affordable

Stayed at the Autumn Inn for a quick ski vacation. The hotel is old but perfect. Warm room. Hot shower. Firm beds. Clean. Backed our car right up to the room to bring snowboard gear in and out very easily.
The Autumn Inn is not a chain hotel and don't expect that. Basic lodging in Vermont at a fair price.

This place is fantastic! So clean and well-kept. Little things like a printout of restaurants and directions added a really nice touch as not to be presumptuous that everyone has means to find places. Great location on your way to Mount Snow or Okemo and you don't want to waste an expensive night. Best of all, the staffs were super friendly.

We appreciate them letting us check in late in the evening for a last minute booking. The space was clean and convenient.

The property is older, but the bed and bed sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean around the sink/toilet, but I did notice some mold in the shower.
Heat and water were both warm, and there was a coffee maker, mini fridge (made some noise), and microwave.

It was the perfect place to stay for my VT weekend stay

They had an availability for our last minute stay and that is the only reason we booked. The price was very expensive for what the place was like. It appeared clean and sheets looked clean but smelled of stale cigarettes. We would not choose to stay here again.
