Right next to the center of town, this is perfectly situated. Parking is nearby and the staff is friendly and helpful.

It was a great and quaint property. We really enjoyed our stay. The Staff was responsive and helpful. The showers were small.

The Hotel is located in a central area of this little city which is convenient. Be advised that there is no parking at the hotel itself as it is located on the main street and even to load/unload the car during daytime is challenging as it is not possible to stop there. There is a free public parking about 50 metres away from the hotel. Also there is no reception from about 11 pm-7:30 am, so if you arrive at that time, you will be given a code to enter the hotel and check yourself in. The hotel is clean but the rooms are relatively small, missing some shelving/chairs. We couldn't find enough space to put our things. The biggest thing for us was lack of lighting in the room. Even with all the available lights on, the room was very dark in some places and we couldn't see anything at night. There is breakfast available on property (just downstairs) for 11 euro and we found it good enough although not extensive. The reception lady wasn't too friendly, neither was she rude. It felt she was rather indifferent during the check out. The overall stay at the hotel was fine for us and there was nothing particularly bad but it is not a place where we would love to come back to unless we need a place to stay and have no other options. P.S. AMEX credit card wasn't accepted even though we were reassured that it was beforehand.

Excellent location right in the center of the small town, with shops, sites and restaurants literally just around the corner. Hotel claims to have free parking, but in fact it is a public parking lot near by. Nice atmosphere, good restaurant (book your table, the restaurant is popular and busy at night). By all means – try the pizza. Breakfast is nice, but the staff could do better on refilling the buffet. We had to wait a long time for our morning coffee. That's sad, when everything else was great about the place. Even though I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

I booked the room on Expedia and when I arrived, the desk told me the room was too small for the amount of luggage I had and that we really needed a larger room which was reasonable. I would like Expedia to indicate whether the rooms at this hotel are small or large so that one is not confronted with booking a larger more expensive room on arrival. This was not the hotel’s fault but Expedia’s. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times before having booked directly withe the hotel without difficulty. The hotel is very good and its restaurant is excellent but Expedia’s lack od description of smal or larfe rooms is a problem

The hotel is not bad but the room they gave me was much too small and the bathroom was totally impossible to function in. You could not even turn around in the shower it was so small and because it was old the water seeped out of the shower doors and wet the whole floor. However, the restaurant of the hotel is excellent and they serve a wonderful breakfast for 11 Euros. The staff was very helpful and nice.

We only were in Saint Maximin Saint Baum for one brief night on our way to the Nice airport, but have no complaints about this hotel whatsoever. Basic, but nice, newly renovated, clean and convenient.

Reception staff were very helpful with our daughter's food allergy. The staff in the restaurant were able to translate the dinner menu.

Extremely comfortable, clean and well fitted out. Great service.
