Stayed for one night for a wedding - staff were kind and helpful and stored our bags for us.
Room was clean and well furnished, the fluffy bath robes were a nice touch. Comfy beds and a good breakfast.
Good parking and convenient for us for the wedding location. Nearby to lots of attractions in the area.

We had a great stay the family room was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was great and the curtsey car is a great a addition.

Warm, friendly welcome, food was excellent, room was small but good shower. Fluffy towels and a basket with most things you’d need. No water in the room but we didn’t ask. Nicely done up. Good breakfast. Would stay there again.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding at Kingston Estate. Perfect location, beautiful room and comfy beds. Lots of power points which made getting ready easy. Breakfast was also really good. Would highly recommend a stay here.

A perfect setting, excellent food and very friendly and efficient service. Although I had a "compact" room, it was more than adequate. In delightful surroundings, the hotel has been an excellent stat point for touring Dartmoor.

What a beaitifully decorated old building that is so comfortable. Decor wondeful, nice seating outside when the sun shines! Staff so helpful and go out their way for guests. Rooms comfortable but if you are tall be careful in Room 4 of the low beam, i managed to not hit it. Breakfast amazing and huge gin choice. Found it as had piggies and prosecco at Pennywell Farm booked. Will return to the area again and use Furzleigh Mill

Lovely peaceful place. In beautiful surroundings. Very attentive helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Modern shower-room. Good wifi. Views of sheep and hills. Very close to Buckfast Abbey conference centre. They also have a courtesy minivan to collect from stations or give lifts if anyone wants a trip away without a car (but I didn't use that as I had my bike - which was accomodated nicely). Faultless.

We enjoyed our stay at Furzeleigh Mill. It is a boutique hotel that clearly prides itself on its ambiance and quality of service. The setting is excellent for anyone who wants to hike the moors, and the owner and staff were very helpful in providing directions to the best trails. We highly recommend staying here for a couple of days.

Right next to the A38, so convenient for Plymouth or Exeter, for example. Lovely setting, quiet, friendly and a lovely room. I didn’t eat or drink there, but the provided me with a breakfast bag as I had to leave early.
Near a national trust site (the abbey, I think) and I expect a good base to explore the region as right on the edge of Dartmoor, I think and not too far from the south coast

A lovely location, stylish interiors and cosy rooms. Our room was compact and had all we needed for comfort, however the bathroom was tiny and made washing etc very awkward and uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful on the whole but for a hotel and restaurant - seemed to lack training in the basic customer service do’s and don’ts. A good selection of food on the menu and breakfast was well presented with a good range including healthy and vegetarian options. I did notice some dirt that had carried into the reception area (on shoes) that was still there at end of the next day as we left. On the whole a relaxing and comfortable stay here with some food and drink to savour.

Lovely place and very comfortable. The only criticism I have is the lady having loud telephone conversations on the landing prior to 9am. From what I heard she was organising things regarding the property. If I am wrong - I apologize, but I am right, she could perhaps lower her voice at that time in the morning. I was awake and it didn't disturb me, but I can imagine it could have disturbed others....

Was really nice clean and comfy with a great view but little bit disappointed about food menu, not too much things to choose and I think need to have more options for breakfast as well a little bit over price, they need to fix the payment option or improve the pay machine because they have delay in showing the payment, I've been called next day day and told I didn't pay my drinks?!?! , I had to spend half an hour with my bank and to check and prove them my payment was done, that is little bit annoying.Anyway hope this feedback to help to improve in the future all this gaps and to become a better place.

We were made to feel very welcome. Hotel cosy and beautifully decorated. Delicious breakfast. Room clean and fantastic for our family of four, with a separate bunk bed room for the children.
