Prefect hotel

We had a wonderful time in Au Prao. The setting was lovely, the sea was great for swimming, and we loved Teddy singing in the evenings.

Generally an excellent place. Room was comfortable and spotless. Restaurants were excellent. Only complaint was with regards to the restaurant manager. All the staff were very good wearing masks except the manager. He stood at entrance to restaurant every night with his old used mask hanging off his chin leaning into the faces of patrons. Sets a very bad example for his staff and upsetting for guests.

Excellent location Staff friendly Speed boat shuttle great but restricted on times - check before you go and get caught out having to pay for private one. Food excellent if a little pricey One of the best beaches on samet in my opinion We will be back again for sure

The staff was friendly but the food was lacking and there was never any staff on the beach asking if there was anything you required no water was available to drink and no access to purchase anything to drink out side the bar was non existent

Very quiet and comfortable stay for a relaxing trip. Beautiful sunset beach view! Good food!

Quiet and clean beach on the west side of Koh Samet. There are only three resorts on Ao Prao Beach - Le Vimarn and Ao Prao Resorts are managed by the same company and CoCo Lima in between. Although it had a full occupancy during our stay, we never felt crowded/rushed. The resort is spacious and there are enough sun beds for everyone.We were already checked in their own special pier - so smooth with transfers and our car, which was parked in the pier, was well looked after. Staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. Complimentary breakfast served a variety of international and Thai dishes - soup options were especially great. We had BBQ dinner, which was not bad, but not so impressive either. We also had one Italian dinner at O restaurant in Le Vimarn, which served very good pizza and risotto. We got a deluxe hillside room. Probably because I asked for a quiet room, our room was at the end of the resort. It was a bit of climb, so in case you have a problem in mobility, its better to get one of the beach cottages.. It was a pleasant stay and we will definitely go back.

Overall a fantastic resort. Lovely beach, great breakfast and friendly service. Nice room with a lovely view from the balcony. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the food, we tried all 3 restaurants and to be honest the food was just okey, especially compared to the price we paid. One weird thing was that the food never were served at the same time for me and my friend, almost everytime one of us got the food and the other had to wait another 10-20 min without explanition. If the standard of the restaurants were higher, this resort would be absolutely perfect.

Superb beach. It is a shame that guests have to park their scooters so fr away up a very steep hill.

Really enjoyed my stay here ,it was so relaxing, if you want a quiet spot with a good beach you should try here , no bars near this hotel,if you still want that you can get a 100 baht bus ride to the other side of the island

Nice cottage! Excellent location. Impressed by the staffers collecting trash on the beach. The only blunder they made was they didn't tell guests which boat they should get on on the way back to the mainland. The driver who sent us to the shore didn't say anything so we just followed other tourists and ended up getting on the wrong boat, which seemed not to be the resorts' boat but a slow regular liner. We had an appointment with a taxi to Bangkok and, because of the slow boat, were about to miss it.

I understand it is in lower season . But evening meal , would of expected seafood selection on display . This gives a better atmosphere an a greater dinning experience. But enjoyed our stay an will return .

Sun sets right in the middle of the bay. I had a very relaxing weekend.

Hotel room was very clean with all the modern amenities. Food was good. Breakfast had a selection between western and Asian. You can't expect the food to be as same as from a 5 star hotel but it was more than enough. Staff was friendly and polite. Our room was at a higher level so the view overlooking the sea was great. Good place to sit on the balcony and have a drink.
