6 night stay and we had to remind desk to get room serviced after 3 nights.

Excellent facility and amazing staff !

Stayed here before and will stay here again. Always nice with a room with a full kitchen.

Check-in was a problem. We were first given a room in the top floor., but when we went to open the door, the key didn't work so we brought all our luggage back downstairs. we were then given a key to the farthest room on the first floor. Once we arrived with all our luggage and we opened the door there was another person in the room. We then brought our luggage back to the desk and was given a key to the farthest room on the top floor. That key worked, but we were tired roaming the whole building with our luggage. The people on the front desk were full of apologies, and the rest of the stay was nice, room and breakfast.

What's not to like about a Suite at a Residence Inn. Love the extra space , kitchen and separate living room . Our room had a gas fireplace which is a nice touch for a hotel

We stayed just one night heading south on New Years eve. Chose it for the convenience to 81 and the larger than usual room. Well run, clean, easy on/off and lots nearby in the way of stores and restaurants. Room was nicely done.

Hot tub needed a deep clean and had below average jets.

The room was very clean and comfortable size of king bed with sofa bed

Room was comfortable and hotel staff friendly and accomodating. Could use some updating. Lack of housekeeping. Bed was never made and garbage was only taken the second day.

Our first room was nice but the toilet was clogged. We were moved across the hall and that room just wasn't clean. There were nail clippings on the floor next to the bed, dog hair on the couch, hair on the bathroom floor, the kitchen floor was sticky, dust on the shelves and headboard.. it needs a deep cleaning. I found out in the morning that the shower drain was also clogged. I notified the front desk and was told they will comp my room. It was my rewards night so I'm not sure how that will work or if it will even happen, I still haven't heard from the manager and don't feel I was taken seriously. The room was free but I'm disappointed that the night I earned was wasted on a bad experience. The hallways could use a good cleaning too. I didn't take advantage of the free breakfast or use the pool, staying in a room that dirty just ruined the whole experience for me. This hotel was rated high, that's why I stayed there. I'm not sure why a place with such low standards would have such a high rating. I travel often and this was definitely one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

The property was great. The amount of noise and pets made the stay a little less pleasant. Kids where running up and down the halls and banging on our door. The guest over our heads kept running and jumping. Pool was virtually a no go because the kids were all in the pool and hot tube. We had to complain several times about the noise and on our last night had to be moved.

I liked the 24 hr service

Nice stay. I love the Netflix option. Spacious suite. Breakfast was good. Pool nice but hot tub was very dirty. Room was clean.

Everything was excellent!

Our stay this year was fine. Overall, I like the accommodations. Spacious room with a full size fridge is awesome. However, the bathtub cleanliness was disappointing. The bathtub had a stain in it and the shower curtain liner had mildew. I was also disappointed in the lack of JMU spirit for Family Weekend. Last year, the lobby and staff were lively and festive and decked out in JMU colors. This year, although the clerks wore JMU t-shirts, the lobby had none of the hoopla of the year before.

All areas of motel were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes. AC was set at 65; entire motel was cold. Complimentary breakfast used a lot of packaging e.g. plastic wrapped pastries & waffles and pints of milk instead of a carafe. We were told staff would not clean room/ replace linens unless asked, but they serviced our room w/o request including running the dishwasher which contained only a few clean dishes.

Only stopped for one night (passing through). Front desk person very gracious and brought up extra bedding himself when we requested it.

Lovely space. Right off Highway. We arrived in the evening and the front desk gentleman was dealing with numerous guest questions at one time. He was very attentive to each guest. He could have used a coworker but staffing is an issue these days so we were patient. He was awesome.

Comfortable, great shower

They were not ready for a large group.. A softball team checked in the same day and my room wasn't ready until well after 5pm. The catch phrase was a " we're sorry, wait one sec" for three hours!!! I guess they were short staffed, but after that everything else seemed to be adequate.
