Great and clean property and staff was great

The Holiday Inn Express is located in the middle of restaurants and shopping, but is still very quiet. The breakfast included fresh hot cinnamon rolls, as well as the normal fare.

Nothing fancy, but the room was clean, smelled good, the front desk staff were great, breakfast was a little above typical hotel breakfasts. Can’t even think of a complaint, would definitely stay here again…

Excellent quality and comfort, very neat and clean; very friendly and helpful front desk staff . Reasonable price. Adequate freshly prepared breakfast. Highly recommended for tourists and vacationers, and for working people here in Polk County for part time schedules.

Great stay. Easy to get to, especially if visiting LEGOLAND. Nice pool, great staff and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Also loved that there is a dvd player in each room and dvds available to borrow in the lobby!

Front desk was wonderful and helpful. Kitchen staff was slow. Had to wait long to get more breakfast foods.

I was a quiet hotel, clean room, excelent breakfast and pleasant staff.

Breakfast was a lot of carb and only thing gluten free was apples and the egg Pattie’s.

Was quiet, clean, and nice.

A bit hard to get to; GPS is apt to misdirect slightly. Accessed finally via Home Depot parking lot. There aren't many dining options near the hotel. The area isn't fully-developed, so hopefully, restaurants will be built nearby in the future. Room was handicapped-accessible, designed for wheelchair-bound individual: roll-in shower, lowered beds, lowered clothes rack in closet, etc. Not very comfortble for able-bodied guest. Took shower, saw/mopped up water that drained onto bathroom floor. Didn't see water that drained onto floor tile in bedroom, slipped and fell; suffered minor injuries that could have been much worse. Be extremely careful if you have this type of shower, as drainage is NOT well-designed. Spacious room with nice decor. Beds too soft for my comfort. Couldn't get lamp or Keurig coffeemaker to work; problems remedied after Housekeeping visit. (Excellent promptness/action by Front Desk and Housekeeping.) Good breakfast included, lots of variety. However, there was a problem with coffee creamer, which I brought to the attention of the attendant. He brushed it off, which I found aggravating, since I would have to use it again the next morning. Not the way I like my day to start. All problems were brought to attention of Front Desk (and presumably Management) before I left.

Nice

The hotel was very nice. The continental breakfast was very good as well as the ambience of the hotel main lobby. Pool looked a little small, did not use it,but otherwise looked fine. Despite some cleanliness issues the hotel was very accommodating. I liked the side room to be able to watch and select movies in the room. Was also nice to see what look like a bad camp of children. Enjoying the hotel as well.
