I stay here every year and it is always an amazing experience. No one does hospitality like Marriott, and the JW Resort is just top notch. I enjoy the spa, the ladies there are amazing. Me and my family of about 80 spend every Thanksgiving here and always love it.

Great Hotel Resort.
Excellent customer service from our immediate arrival to our departure date.
Comfortable beds, large TV in the rooms.
Large lazy river swimming pool, temperature controlled, a bonus.
There are lots of great restaurants on the hotel premises.
We will return.
The only small issue was trying to leave the parking area. The resort has a new system that will either take your room key or some small QR code on the receipt you get when you enter the premises.
Speak with the registration desk when attempting to leave with your car.

Went on a family trip with my 2 kids and husband. Overall the place was beautiful and staff was very friendly. Few complaints were that there was more trash left around than I expected from such a well maintained facility. I know for a fact, I saw the same trash that was never picked up 2 days in a row in the same spot. Also..beware of the bees! Apparently there is a huge hive they maintain somewhere on the property which causes spill over to the other areas and we were getting relentlessly pestered by the bees more than once over at the water park which was incredibly annoying. Not to mention painful when we got stung just trying to walk from one area to another.

We enjoyed our stay at the JW. The property was very well maintained. Our rooms was clean and comfortable.
The noise from disrespectful kids running up and down the hall was bothersome but not the hotels fault.
There are plenty of options to eat or get a drink on site. We really liked that there were lots of places to hang out, to either play games, sit and visit or just curl up with a book. We loved the fireplaces all over the property.
The water park area was great, even for an older couple without children. We were there Labor Day and the two days following. Once the holiday crowd left, we felt like we nearly had the resort to ourselves. They did close down the restaurant and bar in the water park because it was so slow which was inconvenient, but the small crowd made it worth it.
We will definitely be back again and recommend to our family and friends.

This hotel is beautiful. We celebrated a birthday trip for my daughter and myself, along with our family. Unfortunately the pool water was fairly cold. Since advertising, you have heat controlled pools, we were disappointed since we chose this resort for swimming. Most people were jumping out of the pool after stepping in and stating the same. The hotel was great and we were allowed a late checkout to try the pool again, but unfortunately, we mostly kept to the hot tub. I think this is a 5 star property during hot temperatures in the summer, we missed the heat by a week. Beautiful resort!

Enjoyed my stay for the most part, but I did not enjoy the ants in my bed. Got bitten a few times. Had to sleep on top of the covers to avoid being bitten any further. Brought it to the staff's attention after the first night, but the problem was not solved. At checkout there was an employee with bug killer on my floor. The person at check out said they had similar complaints from other guests that weekend. I realize with it being Labor Day weekend that there probably wasn't another room they could move me too. I basically tried to avoid my room as much as possible by staying by the pool. Would have been an awesome experience, but ants in the bed is a big problem.

The waiters at the lobby were amazing and one of the clerks made us feel very safe and comfortable since we arrived.

We were given a handicap-accessible room that was outdated and in need of renovation, even though I never requested one. The shower was old and constantly dripping, and the sink clogged multiple times during our stay. The room definitely needs an update.
Additionally, the hotel doesn't offer free charging for electric cars. Instead, they charge the valet fee of $45, which is quite steep considering other hotels offer free charging for members. It doesn’t even need to be a fast charger—just a regular outlet would suffice. The hotel should really improve in this area.

The pool area is large, fun and the views from room are great. 18 Oaks food excellent. Each person we encountered was nice, but would have liked better communication ability. Maybe the system is antiquated. It took a lot of menu choices and time to get someone on the phone to help you once on property. It’s a large property and you feel it. The phone in the room didn’t work.
The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows are BAD. Bring your own! This was a major downfall, when I book a high end room I expect the sleep experience to be great and it was not just “ok”, it was kinda bad.

This place was insanely overpriced and overrun with screaming kids everywhere. The staff was completely in knowledgeable for any questions we asked. The food was terrible and so expensive. We almost left a day early. Terrible experience overall.

Overall, it was a very nice experience. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The pool area was clean but crowded. The service in the pool area was excellent.
With that said, there were a couple of issues. We were originally assigned a room with one bed even though we had a reservation for a room with two queen beds. The
person at the front corrected this and was very nice.
Also, as suggested, I completed the pre check-in over the internet but still had to stand in line to go thru the process again. I was told it’s like checking in for a plane and something about assigning our room. That didn’t work because we were assigned a room with one bed!
Would we go back? Yes, but I won’t bother to check-in before hand and I’ll verify the room description before leaving the front desk!
Then we were unable to view our bill on the room tv, so I had stand in line to see my bill and check out.

We were not impressed. The room had old damaged furniture, and the carpet was old and stained. The map of the property was incredibly confusing, and we always had to ask. There were tons of kids making noise the whole time. It was not relaxing. The staff were not helpful. When I called as I had left a few things in the room, they kept hanging up on me. The food service was terrible and took forever. Limited food options especially after 10 p.m.. overall, not good value for your money.

Really beautiful property especially the balconies. However had to change rooms due to the heavy bleach smell from cleaning. Suggest that housekeeping staff open the balcony doors to air out the room once finished. Very nice staff as well. Will definitely be back!
