Everything fantastic. Perhaps we had an upgrade? A very large room and good view. The staff was so nice and polite. We’d like to come back.

We really loved our stay here. The check in and check out were smooth. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free mini-bar was a nice surprise :) I had a work call during our stay, and the wifi worked wonderully throughout the meeting. Would have loved to stay longer than just one night!

We had a great time and definitely wanted to come back.

It was a really nice hotel and people were friendly as well

We were disappointed in terms of hygiene. Upon arrival we immediately checked the bed. There were hairs on the pillows and duvet. We reported this to the hotel staff and they promised to replace it, but unfortunately this did not happen.

The place is beautiful, and can make relux.

Really lovely room, went for the comfort double. 25sq m but well worth it. Bed very comfy, bathroom roomy and well equipped. Free for our two daxies and a fridge full of assorted free drinks. The reception was not fully manned at all times. WiFi terrible. Position to the town was fabulous. Parking limited and fairly expensive

Very nice hotel on a beatiful location by the small river in the town centre. We had a very nice large room with a view over the river and the bridge. The hotel has it own parking garage just around the corner. Friendly staff and good service. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very dog-friendly, dogs allowed in the breakfast room/restaurant (we were travelling with our dog). The only minus is that the free hotel wifi didn't work at all in our room on the 4th (top) floor, the network didn't even appear as selectable in the wifi settings. We got another wifi-network with a password that was supposed to work in that part of the building, but that wasn't detectable either. It didn't matter very much to us since we didn't really need to use the room wifi. Needs a fix, however. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Super Lage

What a gem of a hotel, a great brand, DORMERO Hotel Altes Kaufhaus Lüneburg. The hotel was location near the old part of town is ideal. It's simply a walk out of the hotel front door and you are there in the old part of town. The room was very clean and well appointed with a ray of complimentary things - such as some drinks (water, beer, and a coke). After this experience will be looking for this brand of hotel again. Definitely will be using this hotel in the future as it was such a positive experience.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral am schönsten Fleck in Lüneburg. Wir haben das Zimmer zu einem günstigen Preis erhalten und sogar, netterweise, ein kostenfreies Upgrade. Ganz dickes Plus für das überaus freundliche Personal, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Gastro-Bereich. So fühlte man sich direkt willkommen. Beim Frühstück wurde auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen, da mein Mann laktoseintolerant ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich. Man frühstückt mit tollem Blick auf den Fluss. Die Sauna ist schön, der Ruhebereich mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Bademantel, Puschen, Handtücher, alles ist da. Besonders toll ist das Duschgel, es riecht herrlich! Im Foyer gibt es immer frisch Gebäck und Zitronen-Minz-Wasser. Wir hatten einfach Pech, dass Tauben unseren Balkon eingenommen hatten. Das Hotel hatte sich schnell darum gekümmert und den Balkon gesäubert, sowie Draht etc. zum Abschrecken der Tauben installiert. Jedoch waren sie hartnäckig, besonders im Hohlraum unterm Balkon und ließen uns daher nie ausschlafen. Wäre das nicht gewesen, hätte ich volle Punktzahl gegeben, da wir ansonsten sehr zufrieden waren!

Unfortunately, one of our rooms was not properly cleaned before check-in. In room 223 there was a womans shirt in the closet still, tops of a bottle of cola on the desk and not clean sheets ( spots) on the bed! we are very surprised about this. and as there was little to no staff working we did not have the opportunity to complain or do anything to fix the issue.
