Beautiful hotel, great staff. Would rebook in a heartbeat, in fact we extended!

Wonderful stay - made to feel so welcome

The resort is marketed as a 5-star but pictures don’t match the actual facilities. Despite phenomenal hospitality from the team, the value paid for does not match the experience. Breakfast is included, but be warned that they reuse items from lunch and dinner from the previous night. Room service is also not worth it. The food quality is not even close to a 3-star hotel. Unfortunately, the rooms, especially pool access, are also not up to par because the beds were uncomfortable and the lighting was broken. The photos present a luxurious stay but this is far from it, and you feel it the moment you walk in to reception, which is a small desk area at the entrance. Also, the hotel is literally right by the street which took away from the exclusivity feel that a 5-star resort has. I would instead recommend the Chanalai Flora which is 5 minutes walking down Kata Road. But again, I emphasize, the staff was very friendly and super attentive, which is the only reason I give it a 3 star review. Not a bad stay, just not a great one either.

We stayed 6 nights at Chanalai Romantica. As soon as we checked in the room, there was a water leaking from the ceiling, staffs changed our room immediately and felt very sorry for what had happened. We were really ok, had a wonderful time during our stay, especially staff named Eye and Pitt were always sweet and adorable. If I were the boss of this resort, I would give them bonus or promotion, because it’s really hard to hire staffs like them who are passionate and always caring about the guests.

It was the quite season but the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The room was very tidy and clean and had everything you will need. I will be hopefully back there as soon as i can

Lovely hotel that's well maintained and managed. The rooms are spacious and inviting, and the private balconies all offer pool views. Speaking of the pool, it's large and well-designed, and with no kids around (adults-only hotel), you can easily lose yourself there all day. We only ate from the Thai menu which was quite good and provided some of the better Thai food in the immediate area. Be sure to indicate spice level, as they dial it down unless requested. The excellent food was further elevated due to the ambiance of the restaurant’s open-concept space which is located right on the street but removed just enough by the stairs that lead to it that you don't even notice the proximity but still allows you to observe passersby. The cocktails are great. Be sure to try the passion fruit mojito! We would definitely book again.

Loved staying here, the pool area is fantastic and BONUS for teachers, no kids! We will definitely stay here again if we return to Kata Beach!

A reasonable hotel and a pleasant stay

The hotel road is under construction so the sidewalk is rocks. The bed and pool are very nice. The AC worked perfectly. Doors were not as secure as I would like. Not many Tv stations, half of them were fuzzy stations, breakfast wasn’t the greatest with for what you pay for. Outdoor bed mattress was pretty dirt, had to have them come and change. Room service food was tiny portions. Housekeeping was great.

This place was incredible. The location is walking distance to Kata Beach and many nearby restaurants, market and taxis. The staff here was wonderful. Very nice and accommodating from the moment we checked in. Every interaction I had with staff was pleasant and they really take pride in making you feel welcome and taken care of. The morning breakfast buffet was also great. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Service staff were superb and went out of their way to help, particularly in booking a ride via local app as we departed. The pool and rooms were clean and comfortable. We did not stay in the pool access rooms but this was not a problem as it was easy to get to the swimming pool. The bathtub in the room was well-functioning and appreciated after a day out in the sun. Breakfast was very good with both Western and Thai dishes available. The hotel's location is good, with a well-stocked minimart 50m south and Coconut thai food restaurant another 50m further.

Amazing hotel: the rooms are spacious and very well maintained. Good isolation (except the loud motorcycles that only a bunker can save from :D ) and the wifi works great. The hotel has a very good pool and a nice-sized gym that is enough for you to work out on a holiday. The staff of the hotel is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, and the breakfast is great. Location is convenient - a lot of mini markets, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants around, as well as a a 5 minute walk to the beach. Right in front of the hotel you can rent a bike or grab a taxi.

Tried to charge 50 baht plus service for an ice bucket. How very dare they.

Like: amazingly customer focused staff. Friendly and efficient under all circumstances. Quiet environment... no screaming kids in the pool. Location: short walking distance to the beach, plenty of restaurants, massage parlors and even a tailor within a few yards.Dislike: None!

We had a great stay the staff are over the top with service always tring to help. Thanks to frt desk Nan and Lynn also in resturant Cola and Da. Thanks agàin!we have only one complaint was lack of pool lounge chairs and most were broken. All was gòod.

This place made our stay in Phuket wonderful. Location is great but the staff and hotel is the best part. So helpful and hospitable. Would highly recommend and we even booked again when we came back to Phuket.
