Friendly and welcoming staff at the front desk who gave us an unexpected upgrade (which was truly appreciated after 4 very long days on the road). There’s a restaurant and a tavern on-site, which again made our overnight stay relaxing. We opted for the tavern and the food arrived quickly, was reasonably priced and tasted great.

Comfortable, spacious, really clean and convenient to dining venues. Would highly recommend this motel as it is value for money as well.

check in & departure was very quick & easy, they were very friendly. it was great that you could park your car right at your door, a touch noisy near the pool, but they settled by 8pm. room was spacious, bed was comfy, bathroom was standard, I didn't want to do anymore driving so walked to Pub next door for dinner.

Overnight stop on our way to North Queensland. Friendly welcome and the suite was very comfortable and spacious. Very Covid safe. Great location with a tavern one side and an excellent restaurant on the other side. Very quiet location and we’d certainly stay there next time we are in Emerald.

Place was super clean. Beds amazingly comfortable to the point we all struggled to get out of them for our 3am departure. Man at reception was very friendly. Honestly no complaints, just one criticism which is the bathroom light is so dim and definitely needs updating.

Really good location adjoining a local Tavern. Fantastic customer service and the owners could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The bed was very comfy and the room lovely and clean. I definitely recommend staying here.

We only stayed here one night. Our room very a decent size, which backed onto a residential area, so very peaceful. A nicely presented room, good bathroom and comfy bed. The motel has a restaurant which was serving to the room due to COVID restrictions, but we did not try their food, opting for the pub next door instead, which was very good.

We had a suite, which was spacious and had a very comfortable bed in a separate bedroom. We had two minor issues. The floor of the shower didn’t drain properly and the padding on the two lounge chairs was thin and meant the frame was uncomfortable to sit on. Otherwise, we were pleased with the room and will be staying there again. Also, couldn’t get Wifi to work.

Quiet. Meal at Bistro excellent. Dennis at Reception very helpful with advice. Could have stayed longer. Room and toiletries excellent.

This hotel has a great location, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly, however the rooms are outdated, ours had a strange odor and were offered another room that had an even stranger odor. The manager was nice about it, and came to check it out but said he couldn't notice anything. Not sure why there are so many great reviews, we stayed in 10 motels in 2 weeks all over Queensland and this one was the most disappointing.

Keep your expectations low and you wont be dissapointed when you arrive.

Really enjoyed this hotel, it is quiet and located right next door to the tavern, has access to excellent restaurant but suffers from none of the noise. Rooms are large, clean & well maintained. Very short walk to a shopping centre with all amenities.
