This property is just down the street from the Brussels-Midi station (South Train Station). I walked into town at least twice and it wasn't too far- 20 minutes or so. There are things to see along the way. I found this hotel the most convenient for me because I also traveled to Brugge, Ghent and Ypres. The close proximity to the train station allowed for easy travel to other areas of the country, as well as easy access to and from the airport. The room was clean and a generous size for Europe. There was a small fridge (although it kept my drinks slightly lower than room temperature- why doesn't Europe like cold drinks?), a hair dryer, and the usual soap/shampoo amenities. Even though the room was literally across the street from the train station, the room was exceptionally quiet. I didn't pay for breakfast at the hotel, but that was an option. Don't plan on having any dairy or meat products in the room mini fridge because it won't be cold enough to keep them at a safe temperature, even when the fridge is turned to the coldest setting. I would stay here again. The staff was always friendly and courteous. There are places to eat close by and there are stores near as well, including a multitude of various stores/shops/quick restaurants in the train station.

For two days during our stay we walked from the hotel to the city and encounter people trying to entertain us but clearly looking for something else, second time we confronted the guy and he went away. After that we only use Uber to and from the hotel. In our opinion, The hotel team should recommend their guests to use any transportation to the city and vice-versa.

Even though the property is not in a nice area, it is very close to the train station. Takes about 20mins to walk to the town centre. The hotel itself is clean and the room spacious but didnt like the shower over the bath and the shower was not powerful. Upside it is always good to have a fridge in the room. Would definitely pick this hotel again though.

Property was good, convenient if you need take trains to visit more cities

Brief but pleasant stay. I arrived late in the evening from Paris and the staff member who checked me in was very nice. I wanted late checkout but didn’t know until what time, as I had a flight to catch the following day. He made it so simple and allowed me to call from my room the morning of, to delay my checkout time when I was more certain of when I needed to leave. The only downsides were the slightly blunt and rude lady who handled my checkout, and the somewhat dirty and unsafe feeling atmosphere of the surroundings, particularly at night. But the latter is more a reflection on the city, not the hotel

Nice hotel with helpful staff and decent sized rooms. Wasn't a fan of the bathroom but overall the room was pleasant. I would stay again. Very close to the train station, which was a plus.

The hotel is located on a very busy road,and the immediate area around the hotel is quite littered. The hotel room was good, the bed very comfortable.The provided breakfasts were excellent.Dining in the evening is somewhat limited.The nearness to Bruxelles-Midi railway station is very convenient.

Great hotel near the Eurostar station. Modern, clean, and great location. The city center is about 15 min walk away for all the tourist locations and restaurants and bars.

Great front desk people - cheerful and helpful. Very easy to get to from Midi station and only a 25 min walk to Centraal station. Property was clean and well maintained.

Location was very convenient - close to the midi/south train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and comfortable. USB outlets on both sides of bed were handy. No plug for a curling iron in the bathroom (only a razor outlet) and water temp was challenging to modulate on sink. Also couldn’t figure out how to control room temp with thermostat - used window.

The hotel is very convenient being close to the MIDI station. For a short trip when all you really want is somewhere to sleep it’s fine but the cups in the room are ridiculously small. Not everyone drinks coffee. That apart and the idiot guests who think it’s ok to slam doors and talk loudly at 3 am it’s fine. I’d stay there again but take my own mug.

Yes hotel was great. only problem was nothing to do with hotel. a pick pocket took my phone. i have never stayed in a Novotel before but i will be looking them up in the further the girl on duty in reception when we checked in was very good. a most helpful person.

Close to Eurostar station

Nice and comfortable hotel right opposite train station, the area is not that great, but a good hotel for a stay if you arrive late/leave early.

Property good and closeness to station is its saviour for people getting to other areas. but area around is not the best if you want to have a walk anywhere especially at night

next door to the railway station without the noises

Sent a mail to the hotel 48 hours before my stay to book a parking slot for the night that was never responded to!… Rang Accor central resa abroad and the awful web phone service was hardly audible. The guy nonetheless managed to pass me onto reception who said there was NO such in house car park at the hotel. Local staff was friendly and efficacious but you could feel the overarching Accor cost cutting hand everywhere. avoid at all cost!!!

Three star that is below standard for the Novotel brand. Small, in poor location, carpet sticky.

Some of the staff could have been friendlier, ie. Smile. I also was not told that they had a safer, and nicer patio to smoke, instead of the front of the hotel, until my third and last night. Breakfast was not relaxing. Felt very rushed. I went to the bathroom, and I came back, and they had taken away my breakfast, and reset it for lunch.
