Beds were very uncomfortable but the staff was very friendly and tried to help me with making the bed a little more comfortable

We had a great experience at Hampton this weekend. Service was friendly and we had a continental breakfast that had eggs every morning.

Check in was awkward. Remote didn’t work went down to let them know and they offered batteries which did not fix the problem. Plus no soap in shower.

We were in town for the WEC race at Circuit of the Americas and decided that staying in Bastrop was a MUCH better option than Austin.
From the moment we drove up to the property and until we left, we were impressed with every aspect of our stay. Professional & friendly staff, clean rooms & property, remarkable breakfast buffet and the list goes on.
I remarked to the desk staff upon checking out that come March 2025, we'd be making arrangements to stay there again because of their hospitality and how nice the hotel is.

The property is certainly older, carpets not so clean, but bedding and towels were fresh. No light over the toilet or shower and the bulb in the sink area was dim and yellow. It looks like the entry/breakfast area has been remodeled nicely. We only stayed one night and slept well with little outdoor noise.

Location for us was important as we were visiting family that lives nearby. Property was clean and bed was comfortable.
Only complaint is there wasn't a mini fridge in the room. We travel a lot and it is nice to be able to have fridge in room to keep extra drinks cold, especially during the hot Texas summer.

Hotel is good but the inside pool did not have proper ventilation. Causing our children to have asthma attack. Many other family members to have their allergies also triggered by the strong chlorine and heat in the area. Had to take my daughter to an emergency visit to get treatment. As her rescue inhaler was not sufficient. Spoke with management and no concern was given. So be careful going to the pool if you gave loved ones with health issues you make may reconsider another hotel with proper ventilation or even outside pool.

Bed was way too hard. Everything else was fine. Very nice people checked us in and out. Good variety of breakfast offerings.

When staying in a country area I am always concerned about the accessibility to food or store. This hotel is conveniently located close to everything. Breakfast was good. Pool was good. Rooms were not the most upgraded but I was literally there to lay my head somewhere.

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds, the pillows could’ve been better. Very clean pool area with extra towels there for the guests. Also had a nice breakfast selection, not happy with the coffee it was too light. But over all very happy with our stay. Very nice staff and clean rooms.

Only concern and it's minor, lots of light coming into door and even if walk by other rooms you can clearly hear conversations.

Not up to typical Hampton Inn Standards. My room was run down. The blanket looked and felt like it was from the 70’s. The bathroom was especially rough. The wall was crumbling.
No juice or water available at breakfast. The machine was broken.
Also overpriced compared to nearby (nicer) hotels.

This property is so run down. There was patch painting all over our room walls. It truly looks like a property that has simply been neglected

I was afraid there would be no Uber but there was. They provided a full breakfast buffet each morning that provided healthy options as well as sweets and treats.
The best part though was the staff. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Such a helpful team of people!

Continental breakfast was very nice. Staff pleasant and friendly.
Room was clean no frig in rooms. BEDS were aweful and uncomfortable which is going to be huge reason we would not stay again! You charge a huge price for room but are broken down.

The experience was a good one as I have been to this property before. As I understand it, they are updating some things in the rooms and microwave and fridge are not available at this time. I will have to check before I book again to make sure those things are available in the future.
