We booked a room with one bed. The manager gave us a room with 2 double beds and said we would be charged an additional $40 if we used two! Room was 1950s style, very old and dated. No value for the money. Wouldn't recommend.

Room was poorly kept as it entire property. Front check in office needs cleaned. Major repairs needed everywhere. A poor value for the price.

Swimming pool didnt have water, room was musky. Opened the door to air it out, staff asked me to keep the door closed.

Outside it´s olde and not that nice. Inside everything was ok. Clean and not smelly at all.
Downside: no breakfast but we knew that when we booked the room. Shopping just 600 feet away.

It was not very well maintained. There was a huge crevasse in the parking lot right next to our room and parking space. There was mold around our shower drain. There were insufficient seating. Only 1 chair in our room booked for 2 guest. Insufficient pillows and towels. While we were away from our room the second day someone was in our room but all they did was turn off the air-conditioner and move a suitcase from one side of the room to another. Whoever it was did not make the bed or replace towels. We will not stay there again.

The listing on Travelocity does not say no pets. When we arrived the front desk person was extremely rude about it and said Travelocity would charge me a fee. Then Travelocity told me the property owner was charging a fee. I never would have booked if the listing clearly stated no pets allowed but it does not. The property blamed Travelocity and Travelocity planes the property. Travelocity said they would follow up with me and they did not. Terrible experience on both of their accounts.

The owner was an b hole the property smelt like the owner. The rooms stink and had bugs you can tell this man cares very little about the customers and customers experience he wants you to pay money and leave. I got a room and didn’t even stay.. I have stayed in nicer homeless shelters than this dump. I won’t even give this room away to someone. Mike you suck do better!

The Silver Spur. It’s just an old property and it is run down. Not sure how to improve it without starting over.

Decent little motel, not modern and could use some updating. Our mini fridge leaked water all over the counter. The curbs are also very tall and parking lot has some pot holes. Beds were comfy and everything worked.

When checking in, the reservation appeared to be for 1 night, but my Expedia confirmation showed it was for 2 nights. The attendant corrected the reservation to two nights so there was no issue. We booked a room with a queen bed but the bed we got was definitely smaller. Not sure if this is an issue with the property or Expedia. Other than that, great price and location, definitely recommend.

This is a very old motel that could use some renovations. It was very clean and the staff was very nice to deal with. I stayed there for three days. I liked that it wasn't expensive like some of the other hotels in the area. I only needed it as a place to sleep. One additional thing the room needed was more lighting. Overall, I liked the staff and I would stay there again. I liked that it had a microwave and small fridge.

This outdated motel was adequate for a late night place to lay our heads. It was clean but the bathtub had rust stains and years of wear and tear, hence the reason for the low score.

This place is absolutely horrible and i chose to wave the buyer protection because i was already on the way so i couldn't get my money back and had to stay there. There was blood on the pillowcase and what i assume is blood on the box spring of the bed (alot of it) the bathrook qaa disgusting mold coming out of all the cracks in the caulk and there was nasty stuff on the walls. Motel was absolutely horrible, weve done alot of traveling this year and have stayed at quite a few motels and this is by far the absolute worst one ive ever been too. And they charged me 20 extra dollars because I had my 2 year old and 4 year old.

The front desk person was nice enough. However, I will never stay at this place again.
The mattress was lumpy.
There were no tables or outlets by the bed. Some folks NEED a table and/or an outlet accessible to the bed. I had to use an inverted cooler for a table. Luckily I had an extension cord with me.
The Wifi was awful.

Basic worn out hotel. Good for a decent night's sleep and a shower for a man. Front desk very pleasant. A/C worked well, hot water, clean sheets, and a quiet area. I will probably use it again for work when alone. Best price I could find when other hotels were full & in the mid-$200's for one night stay.

I didn’t take the reservation and booked something else. Totally misrepresented on the ad and the price ( without my rewards) is a bigger sham. It looks like a drug users hangout, ran down and on the out skirts of town. I wish I could have gotten a refund but finding something out on a road trip last minute negated that.

The place could use some repair help from professionals instead of local handymen, but everything worked and was clean. A solid $50 a night hotel on a regular day.

The hotel is run down. The sink wasn't working properly. Everything was old and out of date. There were holes and rips in the bedding. The hotel just hasn't been taken care of.

Needed to cancel and getting the run-around about booking through a third party so I need to through Expedia to get the refund... Ended up not even checking in the place looks like someone could go missing and no one would notice. Stay at the pronghorn. We were unable to check in prices comparable to other much cleaner and centrally located hotels.

I chose the least expensive listing in Lander WY on Hotels.com. The Silver Spur was priced at $100, which was at least three times what it should have cost. The check-in clerk was surly, and the room lacked in every aspect. No desk, table about big enough for an ashtray, no glasses, cups or coffeemaker.

Staff was really friendly and helped with information on places to go and visit on our trip. A little bit of a better hotel from the ones ive stayed in. But the room i was in the ceiling looked like it wasnt very stable in one spot. The water was brown when i first turned it on. The beds were hard. But was an alright place to stay when you were just sleeping there and mostly out on adventures.

The room was very small and looked to be an after thought for construction. Don't use room #23. Some of the towels were stained or not clean. There was a hole in the bathroom door patched very badly. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean and the rest of the room could use an updating. The room did not match the pictures.

TOILET BROKE 1ST NIGHT. HAD TO CLEAN UP WATER MYSELF & FIX IT SO IT WORKED AND DIDN'T SPRAY WATER. SAID THEY WERE GOING TO FIX IT THE NEXT DAY, BUT DID NOT. HAD TO GET MY OWN TOWELS THE NEXT DAY. NEVER CHECKED ON TOILET. JUST RUDE!

Manager was nice and polite. I evidently booked a large room on the 2nd floor with Hotels.com, but on arrival I asked for a room on ground level. I was told it was a very small room (it was tiny) but there was no discount available for the smaller room. The bet sheets and towels were dingy, thin, old and past due for replacment. there were cigarette burns in the blankets, which were also very old. For $110 a night at this very sketcy place they need to buy new linens. The room was relatively clean and had obviously been serviced.

It's the worst motel I've ever stayed in from the hundreds and hundreds I've been to. The shower didn't work. The place was dingy and unclean. The bed mattress was terribly soft. It was to be a queen bed but was a double. The room was tiny. There was no ice. The parking lot hadn't been cleaned in years and weeds were growing through cracks in the asphalt. The man behind the counter was inept, was difficult to understand, and couldn't type on the keyboard.
