The rating is incorrect. It should be less than or equal to 7. The room smelled like cigaret , there was trash under the sofa and the bathroom fan did not work. The rooms do not get serviced and some towels had stains (lip stick). The pool area is not managed. There was a pizza party at the pool with rowdy people

The Hotel itself was great but the first night I stayed my car window was smashed and everything stolen. It is clearly a common problem there because the hotel has signs all over their parking lot that say they are not responsible. No cameras facing lot only the entrance. So it is a free for all. I highly recommend the hotel place cameras all over the parking lot. Most expensive stay ever! I am disappointed. I felt the hotel could have offered something as compensation.

Nice place

The check-in went smoothly and the gentleman who checked us in was amiable. We felt very welcomed. It's a great hotel to stay for the night or several nights. We would stay here again no question.

We booked a king suite. William was hesitant to get off his phone and chair to ask for license and charge card. All the while watching his phone on the counter. No Hello, or water for the coffee maker, or time of breakfast, or inquiry about our vehicle. We went into the room surprised to see 2 queen beds. We walked out of the room and down to desk. We told him there was a problem. He asked us when we checked into hotel. He didn’t remember us from 5-10 minutes earlier. Told us the room assignment was not Hampton Inns fault and we had actually been upgraded. We told him we wanted a king bed. He said we had prepaid and we told him to look again because we hadn’t. He told us he’d put us in a regular king room for a lower price. This is the first time we have had a problem at any hotel. The next morning we aired our grievances with Sherry and she explained what happened with the room. She didn’t see where he had put us in another room. She was very gracious and we appreciate the time she spent with us. Breakfast and checking out were the best experience there. Oh and the bed, it was nicer than the bed in Bellevue.

Pool area was a little yucky but the pool guy was showing up just as we were leaving.

This is our second time at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Federal Way. The hotel is clean with an attractive lobby, excellent breakfast and high-quality rooms. The hotel's pool and fitness area are very small. They are clean, but not conducive to a long-term stay for a family. The property itself is limited in size and lacks a beautiful exterior presentation.

Someone from the staff walked in our room at 12:30 am. When we told the front desk the next morning they did not even apologize and take accountability. They has an issue in their system and were super unorganized so that was their justification why someone entered our room

Excellent facility! Area around has chain restaurants - lots to choose from. Great place to stay to be close to the airport.

For the cost of each night, it was expected that the hotel was a little better. Overall the stay was satisfactory but it should have been a little better.

The property was very filthy from the floors in the lobby to the elevator to the halls and the rooms. One of the sofas had sticky maple syrup. There was hairs on the mattress. The baseboard on the hallway was on the floor and a lot of visible drywall taping on walls and ceilings. Very dirty floors and dusty room

The staff were very nice. The room was spacious. However, we did not have any WIFI throughout our trip. We were told engineers were on their way but nothing... Also, the light in our bathroom flickered, the basin was clogged and would not drain, and the key card kept resetting and thus not opening our door (meaning we had to keep going downstairs for a new card). Overall, the room was quite tired looking.

We were angry because we were charged for parking without being informed. The first morning breakfast had hard french toast. We love Hampton but will not being going back to the Federal Way facility.

Service is very poor no internet the exhaust fan in the washroom not working. Fruits are not fresh sooo dry i ask for new but they said all same. Floors so dirty. I report the exhaust fan and internet they they cant do anything. I paid $450 canafian for a miserable night in that hotel

No television and no internet

Cleanliness of our room was good. I don't hear noise coming from outside our room unless they're screaming right outside our door which happened a couple of times which was understandable bcuz there were crowds of families with kids in town for a tournament. The two staff members I interacted with were kind. But the cleanliness of the elevator was not so good and the pool area really needs work. 1st day we go in around 4pm. Pool is stuffy and almost like a sauna. No ventilation. So parents sitting and watching their kids pretty much suffer. My daughter says the water was nice and cold thou. 2nd day in there 8am and there are wet towels EVERYWHERE and the pool looks questionable. The one bathroom they have in the pool area is kept locked but they have a sign that asks pool users to dry off before entering the bldg. No provided towels bcuz they're all on the floor wet and bathroom locked. So we're suppose to sit here until we're dried? Which didn't happen to a lot of ppl I seen yesterday, which caused the hallway floor to be wet leading to the elevators and to the outside bathrooms by the lobby area. Asking for a lawsuit to happen smh. Wasn't able to catch the free breakfast in the morning.

I stayed one night. So, I did not use this property enough to know about the advantage to stay here beside other hotels. But, I do know the breakfast was not bad. They charge $8 for parking.

Proximity to destinations

Room card key problem. Had to go to the reception every day to have it reprogrammed.

Reception was quick a say. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance so that was convenient. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

First of all, I got charged for parking fee and I didn't even have a car when I checked in and didn't realize until few days later also guy at the front desk didn't have any experience about his job because keys he gave me wasn't working for the first,second and third time therefore I had to keeps going back to the front desk to get the new keys and finally worked on fout time ans it took me to 40 minutes to get in the room

The employees at the desk could use a little training. They weren’t too helpful or knowledgable. Asked for fresh bath towels on 2nd night and the gal gave us 4 handtowels but we didn’t notice until this morning when showering. If you’re not going to clean rooms daily then at least bring new towels.

It was not at all a good experience. AC was broke for 2 days and we called front desk multiple times and no one showed up to fix it. They sent the tech up to our room on our 3rd day. There was a conflict about my reservations between the hotel and Expedia. It was a rough check in spent almost 2 hours at the front desk. Women were pretty rude and unprofessional!

The tv( service) wasn’t working, they managed to get it working the following day.

Pool wasn’t open, the freeway was extremely loud, the refrigerator made a loud gurgling noise, the bed’s were hard and the tv’s didn’t work; but breakfast was good.

Breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable but the thermostat was broken so we had no way to run the fan to drown out the hwy noise. Room 517

Very close to food. Quiet area. Very nice staff.

Freeway was very noisy.

Our room did not seem fully cleaned and it took a little while to get this rectified. Large group of children at the hotel that day and the noise continued into the night, along with someone pacing back and forth above us, keeping us up even after we called the front desk to complain. Also, a good amount of traffic noise.
