A great welcome from the friendly hosts

No frills budget hotel exactly what i was looking for.

The room was falling apart o told the manageress about the glass shelf falling off the bathroom wall and she told me is the glass broken to which i replied no but its hanging off the wall you cant put anything on it where she told me i was being a trouble maker for telling her about the unusable shelf and the tv that didnt work was my fault.

Small and shabby hotell, but cheap and conveniently located by the old town. The managers are very nice and helpful. It can be noted that a strict no-visitors-in-the-room policy is enforced.

The hosts could not have been any nicer. The rooms are basic but it was exactly what we wanted. 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants close.

Wonderful find! We were slightly dubious given the price and some of the reviews but absolutely loved it. The owners couldn't be more friendly or helpful, especially as I had some requests and communications beforehand which they helped with. The location is great, a few minutes from the main old town streets and maybe 5mins from the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Don't get me wrong its pretty basic room-wise and hotel-wise, and they don't clean or restock your room unless you ask but that's no big deal for most people. Bed was basic but comfy enough. TV was pretty complicated to work. Bathroom basic but everything you need. Realistically, unless you're looking for luxury (which most people don't in Benidorm!) you can't really beat this for price and location, it made for a very cheap and excellent long weekend. I'd definitely stay here again when I return.

I booked a room for me and my wife and we we given an apartment from the amazing owners. Could not of been more welcomed and lovely people thank you so much for your hospitality. I would recommend to anyone will definitely book again when I come back. Thank you once again.

Good hotel in old town

We booked the hotel but were offered an apartment on arrival. The owners prefer more mature clients in apartments as they don't want noise late at night. Really enjoyed our stay and found owners really pleasant and helpful

Last minute booking and very smooth process. Very nice self contained 2 bed apartment adjacent to hotel. Very good value for money Good air con, excellent shower but no internet in apartment for the duration of our stay. Very nice hosts and free WiFi in main hotel reception was always available.

Booked this room as a last minute thingWas pleasantly surprised.Lovely friendly welcome by the hotel staff. The room was clean and ample and perfect for our needs which was basically a base prior to a night out with friends.Plenty surprised to notice rooms had air conditioning too at no extra cost.Would visit again :-)

Great little hotel, which we will use again when we return to Benidorm. Run by brother & sister team Sabi & Asad, who are lovely people who make you very welcome. It is in a very good location, and is very good value for money. As good as any 3* hotels we have stayed in. 10/10 for hotel iris.

The hotel staff is really very nice. Thy went out of there way to make us feel at home and were very accommodating. The hotel is tucked away in old town Benidorm and is just a minutes away from tons of shops, restaurants and the beach. It's an older hotel and the rooms are very basic. The bathroom is tiny and doesn't come with any toiletries or hair dryer (you can ask to borrow one though). The best thing about the room though is the bed! Memory foam mattress! And there is air conditioning which is nice. This hotel is perfect for those that just need a comfy bed for a couple of nights. Overall, it suited our needs and would come back.

Great hosts and very chatty, helped us no end with tips about parking, places to go and weather etc. The hotel rooms need updating but we were not complaining at the cost, the hotel is right in the old town and access to everything is simple.

Iris hotel is conveniently located in the old town about 10mins from beach, the owner Sabbi? is very friendly & helpful. room very basic but very clean, bathroom with bath & shower & plenty hot water. Breakfast minimull but sufficient to get you going.(only 2 euro toast & coffee). no other food, but has bar. Surfiet of eating places in Benidorm!!. Would Highly recomend for travellers on a budget. A little noisy due to its location in narrow streets. Would use again for a 'no frills' break. Stayed for four nights as a couple (ages 74 & 75) other guests - mainly 20s/30s.
