We cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We booked after reading several reviews about the amazing service, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The food and drinks were some of the best we had in hvar. We found ourselves not wanting to leave so we could spend more time with Nikola and Sara who worked bar and restaurant. Two of the best we have ever experienced! We will be back!

Peaceful location

We absolutely loved this Hotel! It was perfect in every way! I highly recommend it to anyone going to HVAR. It was a beautiful walk to and from town and the perfect location with gorgeous views and an incredible staff.

Hotel Moeesy is amazing ! It’s in such a beautiful position, with a great beach & a lovely walk to the old town . The short walk is a real plus in my opinion. Kristina the concierge could not have been more helpful, not only making recommendations in Hvar but also our next stop . Huge thanks to her, she is a star.

This is a true 5 star hotel. Everything looks spotless and there is a lot of staff ready to help and serve you. Try to avoid rooms on the third floor, as these have no windows except for a skylight. For some reason they put me in there, maybe there is something in my profile that says I want a crappy room. Wifi and airco were good, everything worked. Pool is amazing. Breakfast is not as elaborate as in other 5 star hotels but sufficient. It is a long walk from the ferry station so if you have bags take them up on their offer to pick you up.

Gorgeous property and location. The pools and bar were amazing and breakfast was delicious. The staff was VERY helpful and Matilda is amazing. She went above and beyond to help with all of our needs prior to arrival and then after as well. Next time we would follow her recommendations for dinner in town. The plan she helped with for our trip to Dubrovnik was amazing and a highlight of our trip. The massages were pleasant and relaxing. Would highly recommend this hotel. (Would skip the dinner here, but everything else was perfection).

Beautiful Hotel , rooms and all public areas excellent standard . Restaurant area is very nice if any lack of atmosphere as no guests eat in the hotel in the evening. The hotel is a good 15min walk from main town plus side it’s 5mins from Hula Hula beach . Staff all very helpful nothing they can’t help with .

Hotel Moessy was an outstanding stay. The 1929 property was completely renovated about a year ago to create a modern, classic hotel. We loved that the hotel didn’t feel like yet another massive, chaotic and impersonal place. We really felt like we had our own tranquility in Hvar. The pool is beautiful and there are enough chairs for the small capacity of the hotel. Hvar Town is a about 10 minutes walk. While on the smaller side, the rooms are modern, with deep, spacious drawers to help you unpack and settle in. The property has easy seaside access to amazing clear Hvar water. Book it!

This property is absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is like a private, luxury villa tucked away from the path that leads to the port and center of Hvar Town. The staff is very attentive from the porter who takes your bags to your room, to Kristina, the lovely lady and the front desk who checks you in and provides you any information you need on the island. Our room was a deluxe room with skylights, a spacious attic room that was bright, private and cozy. We enjoyed eating brunch on the lovely patio every morning and sitting by the pool in the afternoon. The commute to the center of town was a 15 minute stroll down a lovely path along the coast. We would absolutely stay here again!

The outdoor grounds, sea views and pool area of this hotel are lovely. The inside space is also immaculate and recently updated. This Boutique style hotel feels very nicely secluded, yet close to everything. We slept well on the comfortable beds and the breakfast was the best we’ve had in our 10 day tour of Croatia. It is an easy 15-20 minute walk down a short hill and along the seawall into the main part of town. The front desk staff were very helpful with arranging luggage transport from ferry to hotel and Matilda even went above and beyond to assist in finding my cell phone that was accidentally left on a ferry. We will dream of returning to this beautiful place.

Beautiful grounds. Well renovated and modern. Rooms were bit on the smaller side and had a lot of moisture. The front desk lady was so kind. Always greeted with a smile and she also went above and beyond to ensure we caught our ferry. The bell man was also so helpful, going above and beyond carrying our luggage into the ferry. I would stay again just get a bigger room.

great location excellent staff very friendly helpful and polite. the hotel itself is a bit old and alot of fixing needed. breakfast was a mess and not good, their arrangement with covid and breakfast is not good. but again, the staff is so helpful and nice that its worth staying there just for them.

The the location,exterior & reception area is beautiful but the rooms & bathrooms were very old fashioned.I think the hotel needs to redo the bathrooms especially.

The bed, pillows and linens are extremely uncomfortable and staff are generally unfriendly. There is much better out there for the price. I would not recommend staying at Hotel Croatia.

It was nice for the price and value of the room. It’s not located in the center of the downtown are like you might think and it’s about a 20 min walk from the hotel or the town section. No pool or really even a gym, just a treadmill and two barbells. Clean but also very dated. Couldn’t get the WiFi to work very well. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s worth it if you’re only staying a night.

The rooms were dated and the bathroom was very dirty...the water the the shower area keot clogging up and the bathroom had a stink the whole time....not worth the money at all

When we arrived to the hotel we were given a room that was big enough for only 2 adults the hotel manager explained that the confirmation of the booking they had received was through another agency and showed us their confirmation which was true. He also explained that we were charged more 40% by booking through Expedia and showed us their price list for the room. Thankfully he sympathised with our situation and gave us a suite with ocean views for just £70 extra. The view from our upgrade was stunning and the balcony was huge. The location of the hotel is incredible with the nicest beaches in hvar just at the end of the hotel garden. In all I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to family and friends. The hotel staff are very nice and accommodating. If you are going to stay in this hotel contact them directly for cheaper rates and a more accurate description of the type of room you are booking.
