Great little clean motel. Arrived late in the night and was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. I was literally just sleeping for a night during a roadtrip, so I booked purely on lowest price point…great find! I will stay here again if I end up in the Yreka area in the future. Nice family running the place!

Older motel but kept in pristine condition. They have made some upgrades to modernize and the small pool is lovely and clean. Very comfortable beds, decent WiFi, lots of tv channels and it is pet friendly in a convenient location.

Nice owners. No amenities at all. Room was clean and king bed was okay. The bathtub was disgusting and needs replacement and the drain was very slow so you're standing in filth as you bathe.

Comfortable and clean space. The bed was nice and the pet area is large with real grass!

THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE! I was hasitant booking this place just from seeing a picture of a room, that had very odd color scheam, which to me made it look very cheap. However, based on the glowing reviews I went ahead with booking it, not wanting to judge the place on someone's odd color esthetic. HUGE mistake! I should've trusted my first impression. This place is like a very cheap motel. One of the reviews stated "well worth the price" NOT SO! From the condition of the parking lot; to the dingy, dusty, unclean room; an even worse bathtroom; the super bright harsh lighting; the lack of a working exhaust fan in the bathroom; the paper thin walls where you hear lots of noise from the parking lot, from other rooms and even loud street noise at all hours. The included breakfast consisted of marginal at best items: packaged danish, bagged bagel, premade little waffles you could toast, yogurt, hard boiled eggs in the shell, OJ, and milk. I had a couple of eggs and a yogurt only because I wanted to get on the road. I asked the man in the office for ice, he pointed to the end of the building and said something unintelligable and "corner". The only positive thing I can say is that the bedding appeared clean, but the pillows provide no support, and they have a designated grassy dog area, although 3 young men (not sure if guests or employees) mistook the purpose of it, sat there chatting and smoking weed. Didn't want my dogs to get a high, so I had to take them elsewhere.

Clean and quiet

Thin walls, loud workers at 5 am. Bed was great and there was a park nearby.

My family stayed here for HS Graduation weekend. IMO this is the best place to stay in Yreka on a budget. The family that owns KML is very accommodating and kind. During Covid they upgraded many if not all of the rooms. Nothing fancy but nice and clean. Great AC. No complaints here. And an outside pool for the kids. This place is a hidden gem for sure!

Family owners are fantastic people. Yreka is Central to nature and scenic destinations, including Rockin Maddie Horse Ranch, Scott River Road and Mount Shasta. The best food is in the towns of Ft Jones, Etna and Mt Shasta.

I appreciate the location right off the I-5 and it is quiet for a good night's sleep. I enjoyed exploring old town. I would stay here again.

Upon arrival, they informed me that they had been sold out hours before I made a reservation through Expedia. They said they showed no reservation for me. I had to find another place to stay. Expedia 's automated answering service would not put me through to a representative and it hung up on after a short period multiple times.

We have stayed here before, and it is your typical rundown older motel. Things were clean but just falling apart.
