Compact room with comfortable bed and everything needed. Nice pool/bbq area

This was such an easy comfortable stay that had all the fine points perfect...easy hot water, comfy bed and warm decor. A selection of herbal teas wouldbe my only suggestion to improve.

Room was small but well set up for 2 people. Staff were friendly and have a love for the area. Bed is very firm. The motel is within walking distance to everything, it’s beautifully set up and lovely to sit outside in the evening amongst the fairy lights adorning the place.

Good location to walk around town. The room wasn’t wide enough to position a queen bed. You need to squeeze by a tv screen to reach the fridge & toilet areas. Best wifi we have experienced in our 45 road trip so far.

Very happy with the stay/ outcome.
I booked a twin room through Wotif, when we arrived it was Double bed, and the manager told me they don’t have twin rooms, even though the Wotif website sold me a twin room. Because of the error, the manager kindly gave us a beautiful two room apartment, that was way beyond what we could have hoped for and we had a lovely stay

We were just passing through so needed a place to sleep at an acceptable standard and Chalet achieved that. We frequently stop at Brunswick over the years and have always enjoyed coffee, lunch or breakfast.

Fabulous property! Family and pet friendly, affordable and within easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, river and beach. Highly recommended.

Love this place so much , it’s cute, clean , easy distance to the town and you can even use the bikes provided to cruise around town…we will be back !

This accomodation should have been condemned. I paid $400 for night. Upon walking in I could smell it was dank. The toilet seat fell off completely and the bathroom hobb tiles were chipped. Mildew along the top of tiles. Manager was drunk when greating us and when complaining of smell he said it had been raining non stop and said yes the carpet felt damp. Later when they came back they denied smelling anything. Offered our money back but we had no choice but to stay in a fully booked town. I asked for a reduction of the rate but they didn’t want to discuss further. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very upset as $400 is a lot of money for a tiny room straight out of the 60’s

Very small room which was very dated (only a double bed which was very uncomfortable for someone tall). Needs lots of basic maintenance (front door lock falling off and bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a chaff cutter). Unfortunately there was a rowdy group of guest who were boozing and partying until around 2am, with no onsite management to do anything about it. Needless to say and awful nights sleep and would certainly not be staying there agai9n

Friendly old style motel nicely refurbished. Very clean. Need to check that all lights are working. Can be difficult to get hold of the manager out of hours.

The Brunswick Heads Motel was an expensive room which we were very disappointed as we couldn't even take our bag in as well they charged $50 for our little mate. The room needs work done in the ensuite for safety as the sink basin wobbles and the cold tap moved. forw$50

It’s cosmetically cute but I would not stay again for the price. I was parked out of the car park both nights, there’s definitely extra people parking there. The walls are so thin I could hear the conversation of people next door. The wifi was terrible. Disappointed

Well-mantained property with a small wading pool. The room had cute retro decor and was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Bikes were on site to borrow. Great vibe at The Chalet and in the town!
