The place is very nice but heater does not work. It’s a remote and difficult to figure out. We called the office and she came up right away. Tried to fix but we froze. My husband tried to take a bath. Water was lukewarm. Disappointing. These are reasons we won’t stay again. But the room is nice and staff are great.

I had a great stay. We had a debacle with a late check in and our keys not working. Although we had to find another hotel nearby in the early morning hours, everyone did whatever needed to make it right the next day including a nicer room. Thanks for making our anniversary special!

We live in Grass Valley, born & raised here and for the first time have stayed at a hotel in town due to a surprise party being held at Courtyard! The check in lady was extremely nice. The suite was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us. Very clean, up to date, roomy and comfortable. The mini kitchen was a great feature as well. Walking distance into downtown Grass Valley was great too! We have joked about planning a staycation but also great to know how wonderful the place is so if we need to tell anyone coming to our cute town.

The staff is absolutely amazing. The grounds are beautiful. They have a wonderful wine/small plates happy hour. Local art is in the main buildings to purchase, which we have done on many occasions. 15/10 every day of the week. We have stayed here many times and will continue to come back.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the very large room.
The TV was quite tricky and confusing to use. The bathroom was clean, with added amenities, however, grab bars in the tub/shower were absent and should definitely be considered to install for safety!

Staff was wonderful. Check in was quick and easy. Area was quiet. Bathroom was clean and nice. Ceiling fan looked like it had not been cleaned in 10 years. Pillows were extremely lumpy - so uncomfortable to sleep on. Great location - walking distance to downtown.

This is a beautiful property, decorating is very nice and calming. The staff were amazing and addressed an issue very quickly. The staff prepared, made to order breakfast was amazing. If you are in the area, you cannot pass up this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grass Valley Courtyard Suites. The property is only two blocks from Main St., but it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was clean and comfortable. We especially liked the private patio, where we had our morning coffee. For breakfast, we had the option of made-to-order omelettes and waffles, as well as fresh fruit, a variety of cereals and baked items, and juices. The pool and sauna were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Wow. What a find! Couldn’t be better. Not a corporate feel at all but really nicely appointed and super lovely staff. Breakfast included - great coffee (and tea) and I got a yummy omelette made to order too!

The clerk who checked us in thursday night was EXTREMELY helpful. Everything we needed was in our large room 8020. The large refrigerator was excellent for our needs. We will definitely come back here

We love this place! This is the second time we have stayed and the staff is so amazing, we love that they bring in the fur babies, and we love that we can walk to shopping. We will stay here every time we come for our girls trip to Grass Valley!
