The food from their main restaurant was little bit disappointing

We spent two nights in the Grand Pool Villa Ocean View room. There is no real ocean view; three giant trees block the view. When we asked to change rooms, we were told that there were no Grand Pool Villa available rooms. It wasn't delightful due to the high cost of each night. In addition, the pool is very low maintenance. The tiles in the pools were broken in a lot of places so it felt like stepping on little rocks. The pictures in the app are not like reality. The villa is big but the TV is old and not high quality.

overall we are very disappointed and we will not back to this hotel.

Beautiful small resort built in Thai style with amazing views. Good facilities, although a 5 minute ride to the nearest town (shuttle provided). The Thai Grand Pool Villa was incredible - spacious, private with a good sized private infinity pool overlooking the Andaman Sea. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good spa facilities.

Wonderful stay. We loved our room, the bathroom was huge and the bed very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant is very reasonably priced considering how nice the hotel is. You can be shuttled around the resort and down to Kamala easily. Sunsets from the rooftop’s restaurant are phenomenal!

The room is big but old and can be cleaner. The breakfast was not good at all and they forgot to bring my husbands breakfast plate that he ordered after waiting for almost 45 minutes. My husband and I waited for 20 minutes after checking out without anyone telling us we were fine and checked out. On top of that we waiting for another 15 minutes for our taxi and guests that came after us got their cabs before us. Im pretty sure we missed our flight thanks to the front desk staff!
We should have stayed at Cape Sienna. All of this literally happened in less than 24 hours. I’m so glad we didn’t stay here for 2 weeks.

Very beautiful property and very attentive and helpful staffs. There is nothing in walking distance. We took a day trip to the islands and one day in patong. As a 5 star luxury hotel, I think several details need to be improved. Towels thicker and not as worn, better gym facility (gym not usable), lounge chairs in better condition; a small gift shop for necessities such as sun block and ibuprofen especially there is nothing nearby. One recommendation for future travelers, book rooms with swimming pool attached. There is only one not too big common pool by the breakfast area. The restaurant is great with wonderful breakfast.

Everything here was absolute PERFECTION! The staff was super friendly and helpful for an English speaking guest, the property is stunning with excellent views, very clean, and the food was delish! I have zero complaints here and offer the highest recommendation to stay here. Def was the best hotel in the area.

The views of the ocean together with the infinity pool is something you cannot take your eyes off...
The service at the breakfast, pool, restaurant, bell, reception, is so friendly. The food is great, quality wise and fine presentation. It is a secluded and nested in between the hills, but is really beautiful, peaceful and quiet.
Walk to beach down the property, or walk a little bit down the road to see almost private natural untouched nature beach. We loved it and are missing Ayara Kamala already!

The value of this property is the infinity pool and oceanfront view. 2 rooms and on the ocean with a private pool is always expensive in Phuket in winter. The hotel is a bit dated and old, but for relaxation and pool usage it's good. The property is off by itself with no areas or beaches to walk to.

This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. We were given an upgrade when we arrived which was nice. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to the nearby town to have dinner and drinks on the beach. The staff were very friendly.

The cart service to your room and to the restaurant was excellent. Offered a fee shuttle ride to town which was a great way to get the beaches. It is isolated which gives peace and quiet. If you wanna go to the beaches you will have to catch a taxi. This is a place to go and relax and enjoy the view.

I booked a 3 bedroom Villa, end up they are 3 different rooms, 2 connecting room and 1 room upstairs. I think hotels.com should compensate me. What you sold to me wasnt what i am getting!!! Not worth the money!!!

Only one restaurant on the property and this is not to be recommended either. Very small gym in basement with very few training equipment. The staff was rather unfriendly which is unusual for Thai standards.

There were cardio machines but they were outside the gym area in burning hot temperature...The breakfast buffet is very poor. Luckily you can get a la carte options and they were quite tasty.

Nice resort. Not luxurious or flashy but attractive in a traditional Thai style. Clean comfortable and tranquil. Spa services and staff are excellent. Some of the nicest most effective treatments I’ve ever had and the staff are wonderful. There is only one restaurant onsite but there is a wide variety of foods to choose from and the staff are very friendly and accommodating A good choice for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle

They say no durian in the fridge. so you have to eat it warm in your room not tasty. They say huffed your too the market. They drop you there. It takes 20 minutes to visit and come back to pick you 2 hours later. No guide and a waste of time. Truck that pick us up has rain protection but driver did not want to get wet so he did not lost the plastic and we got all wet

I had a peaceful and wonderful 4nights stay at Ayara. Booked for pool access suite, the room is huge with sharing huge infinity pool among like 5 units and awesome seaview. Im lucky to enjoy the pool all by myself during my stay as im the only one who stayed at the pool access suite. Bed is comfy but the aircon needs to be better, its abit hot at times. Pool is clean as they do the cleaning maintenance daily. Breakfast is awesome, u can enjoy both buffet and ala carte breakfast, many choices for the food and drinks. First time staying at kamala area. They do provide free shuttle to kamala beach daily. You can rent a bike at kamala beach as it will be much cheaper to travel around the island than taking grab or their hotel transport moreover they do provide free hotel parking. Price is abit steep, will be good if cheaper. Definitely will consider to be back for my stay again.
