Lovely old baroque building - bits needed repair - safe did not work nor phones and gym sadly not useable but this was being repaired - however staff amazing and helpful. Any problems resolved quickly. Location only short walk from town - lovely pool.

The owner and his family are very nice and greeting us. The owner is taking good care of us. He even offer us a ride to the port. It's only 11 minutes walking from his hotel. The view is amazing.

This hotel is very old you feel like you are in 1970’s. The outside look nice but inside it feels like you are in your grandma’s house. NO HOT WATER, no shower door, no working coffee pot at breakfast, breakfast was no good and the room key had a weight on in that had to be returned to the desk when you left the hotel.

Lovely hotel with a quirky interior and very friendly staff. Overall, the place was full of charm. Unfortunately there are no partitions or privacy measures between the balconies and that genuinely marred my stay. Both rooms I stayed in had either noisy or chain-smoking neighbors in the balcony. It is a shame such an asset is not looked after by the hotel so that guests can enjoy it.

Okay hotel. They have a nice pool with a bar. The guy that worked in the pool bar was wery kind and welcoming. The rest of the hotel was not the best.
The garden looks nice and the hotel was probably really nice 20 years ago, but is definatly in need of maintenance and refurbishment.
We missed healthier options in the brekafast too.
When we arrived we got a wrong room. I asked the receptionist about this and i emediatly got a new room. But then the A/C didnt work in the new room. So they said that we will get a new room the next day. When we finally got the third room, the shower was broken.
The double beds are just two single beds placed together, that leaves a big space between the matrass.

We had some problem with airconditions and had to switch rooms twice.
Quite bad breakfast, and the cleaning wasn't super either.

We left a mobile phone out overnight on the balcony on the first night of the stay and in the morning it was gone. The phone has a feature to locate it remotely which indicated it was still in the hotel. We notified management, who helped us look for it around the grounds, but they would not search any guest rooms. Only when we advised them that we were going to contact the police did our phone suddenly turn up, fully charged, in the room we had stayed in and had thoroughly searched. The phone's tracking features told us it had been moved a few hundred meters and the SIM card had been reinserted.

Staff was extremely helpful suggesting places to visit, places to eat, explaining how the buses work and even arranging a rental car. Hotel is in a good location to explore the town. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet

It was full of charm but quite run down - we had serious plumbing problems with water constantly coming up thru the drain in the bathroom

I was spacious and cool temperature inside that We appreciated and it was place in a calm location near the town. The interior design was old and the pool was deep all the way. Not for kids at all.

Great position on sea front. No steps to climb! Very quirky hotel done in old Greek style. Amazing pieces of furniture! Friendly, helpful staff. If you want a different experience from minimalistic trend try Prince Stafylos.

The hotel is atmospheric and spacious. Wood paneled and old fashioned feel. Rooms are spacious and have good view. Good breakfast buffet.

We LOVED the Prince Stafilos hotel! It was utterly charming! We had a double room with 2 balconies facing the sea. The pool was great, with excellent bar service. Staff members were all courteous and helpful. It is a short walk to town-- only complaint is no shower curtain--apparently an issue throughout Greece!

Great location, but terrible beds.

This hotel was absolutely charming! The hotel staff were warm and friendly and would bend over backwards to make everything perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated in traditional island decor, and very well done. The location is just far enough away from the port that it is quiet, but close enough that you feel like you are in the middle of town. We found the best restaurants in town just steps from our hotel. This is our 4th trip to Skopelos and we will defintely be back.

Beautiful building but really poor service. Untrained staff and no menus. To get a drink you had to seek out a staff member rather then some sort of system. Not 4 star in our opinion though it has to be said nice enough rooms and staff were always friendly. Just not trained and whoever owns the hotel seems to not be interested in improvements.

The hotel is over rated as to being a 4 star hotel. A better rating should be in the neighborhood of 2 1/2 . Breakfast lacked variety, coffee was served cold & cakes & breads were stale. Bed sheets were never replaced during our stay. : Expected more from a 4 star rated hotel. It is a family run business, which lacks the skill level to provide the expected services of a 4 star rated hotel.
