I was expecting an exceptional experience for this price. The hotel looked charming. But there were two serious problems with my stay. The Wi-Fi was so undependable that they may as well not have bothered. I had a lot of work that I wanted to accomplish each morning and I had to put all of it off. I even tried moving to the lobby instead of my room but that made no difference. The other problem was that I woke up at four the first morning and there was no AC. The fan was still on but the room was heating up. I asked about it later and was told that the AC turns off every morning so they can clean the rooms. I replied that no one was cleaning any rooms at 4 a.m. I suspect that they had set their clock to the wrong time. Nevertheless, the AC turned off every morning I was there and turned back on in the afternoon. Spain was experiencing a severe heat wave at this time so this diminished the comfort that could have been afforded.

Warm,friendly and comfortable small family run hotel. If I need to be critical perhaps the room was a little small but we had expected that and it didn’t cause us any problems.The restaurant wasn’t too shabby either and I would recommend you give it a try, I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Room was very comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend it. Right in the middle of old town and near the castle. The attached restaurant is also very nice. Parkng is outside of the old city in city lot. A consideration for those with disabilities---ask if there is a lift. We did not see one. There are several flights of stairs to haul up luggage.

Room was good as was breakfast. Decided to stay for dinner but was very disappointed. We had the set course meal. I had the duck which was so greasy I couldn't eat it.

Well located in the centre of town but very quiet area, minutes away from the castle and main square. Very friendly staff, courteous and helpful. Try the restaurant for a nice local meal with reasonable full meal prices (menus of the day). They have a good cellar if you want to try the wines produced in the region.

A really memorable experience in this small but perfectly formed hotel. Parking was easy in the car park across the street. All of the village meet in the square just around the corner. An absolute gem! Ate our evening meal in the restaurant below the hotel, fabulous and the scrambled eggs served for breakfast were gorgeous. Visit Olite it's stunning.

This hotel has ambiance that makes you feel like you are in ancient Spain. The food was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Location was excellent. Lovely hotel the only downside was the bathroom was rather small.

Our room at Merindad de Olite overlooked a small vineyard with a side view of the castle almost right next door. The family that runs the hotel is charming and very welcoming. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so cannot comment. Note: there is only a staircase from street level to reception one story above so those with limited mobility may have difficulty, especially if travelling with heavy luggage.

Hotel cannot be faulted! Staff were lovely and the attached restaurant is a gem! Stayed two night and would have stayed longer!

Cute hotel, felt more like B&B joint. Located inside castle walls of very charming Olite village. Clean and friendly with all the amenities, wifi etc. and great little restaurant downstairs. A must stop if traveling by car through Navarra. Very authentic.

Hotel is in a nicely restored building in the historic center of town. It is quite pleasant and well run, and in excellent condition. The town is quite charming!

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We stay there at least four times a year on our travels to and fro Spain and England and they always remember us and take great care of us. The restaurant is excellent for an evening meal or tapas and you have to try the Navarra wine.We will be back.

The staff was very helpful and the dinner menu was outstanding!! By far, the best meal we had during our entire stay in Spain! The train station is a 5 min walk!! Loved it!!

Everything about this hotel was first class, including the position within the walled city. We had a very good meal in the restaurant, trying the local wines at the same time.

Clean, and very friendly people, especially good breakfast with very good service from the waitress. Would rate the hotel highly for its position in the town,
