Tranquil and affordable

Probably the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in and grossly overpriced. Reception staff didn’t speak English so I had to talk to someone on the phone to check in and even then they just took my Money and handed me a key with no other information about the facility. Upon entry to the cabin there was a half full packet of cigarettes sitting on the couch which was incredibly stained and felt dirty. The robe doors were not just broken but completely off the tracks and the outdoor area was very dirty and had a dirty ashtray with butts still in it. The cheap Venetian blinds were bent which compromised the privacy while in the spa bath. The spa itself was fine until we turned the jets on which filled the bath with a mass of ‘floaties’ of uknown origin. Needless to say the spa experience was very short lived. The shower cubicle leaked and was poorly designed. The bed was comfortable enough however all other furnishings were either dirty or in disrepair. For a discounted price of $370 for one night this establishment is an absolute rip off and the owners need to give some serious attention to the upkeep of the facilities to justify charging such a price. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

The property and surrounds were fairly run down and needed a bit maintenance. We were told on arrival that the pool was out of action and not available. Plus side, our accommodation cabin although possibly not luxury was clean, the bed was comfortable and the spa tub clean. However, the cabin urgently needed fumigating. In bushland so may be expected to a degree, but it was full of cockroaches, in the cupboard, on the walls and coffee table. If you don't like cockroaches and I certainly don't then don't book - we considered moving out at one stage and spent a sleepness night. Mentioned it when handing the key but not sure if it was taken onboard.

The cabins were nice and private which we loved, along with the spa! However, the bed was hard and worn out. (It needs to be replaced.) Also the tv didn’t work properly and the cabin needs to be updated a little. All in all this place is nice for a getaway and is very relaxing.

I was fortunate to be upgraded to a wonderful cabin room. It was clean, quiet and had everything you needed. I loved the private deck where i enjoyed my breakfast.

The owners where amazing, it was a beautiful spot to stay, very comfortable and relaxing, close to places to go and see, beach was nearby, it was a little peace of paradise.

This place was a real treat, close to the coast but away from the rush. The best part was the Kangaroos that joined us for breakfast with mum and her little joey. If you are looking for something a little different you will love this place.

Location is awesome! Was a nice quiet, spa bath and fire were lovely.

The natural bush surroundings with bird life noises was delightful and peaceful. When walking on the road a kangaroo and her Joey in her pouch timidly hopped up and stared at me !! How adorable.

I only live 15 minutes from this hidden gem. I never even knew it existed after living on the sunny coast for most of my life. This was a great get away, the peace & quite, the sound of nature, was definitely what we needed. I would recommend & I will definitely be making plans to stay again, next time it will be two nights 😊

It was very private and surrounded in a beautiful rainforest with all the modern luxuries provided.

Loved that it was so peaceful and relaxing, you woke up to birds & not traffic. Spa bath was a great size for single or couple. Loved the breakfast supplies. Only bad thing I have to say is normal maintenance is required, cobwebs cleaned & some furniture needs to be renewed as you can tell it's been there for sometime. Would definitely go back

For the price - the property definitely needs some upgrades… doors don’t close. Shower screen doesn’t close. Only 2 channels on the TV work - would of been nice to have some board games or videos available. The bed was very uncomfortable with springs digging into your back - very disappointed.

Very relaxing stay. The spa was awesome! The only real downfall was it did smell and no cooking facilities. A small Webber on the deck would give the rating excellent.

Beautiful setting in the forest, wonderful retreat as a couple to unwind and treat ourselves to some “us” time. Great selection of food and fruit in the room so you’d not have to leave. A hidden gem.

We loved our stay in the cabins! All the extra touches of luxury that are included along with the generous breakfast supplies added so much value. We can’t wait to go back!
