The staff are friendly

I would highly recommend the Britannia, it was clean, comfortable, the staff were excellent, went out of there way to cater for your every need. I would certainly stay again if passing that way. xx

It was just what I needed in a spectacular location and very quiet. It has an interesting history too.

Conveniently located just outside Llangollen with a welcoming family as hosts. Dating back to 13th century, plenty of character though outside could do with a little refreshment. Superb views and good 'pub grub' on offer.

Staff very helpful and friendly, was able to check in early. Rooms very clean and tidy and food was really good.

This was a total COVIDisaster. Expedia seem unable to comprehend that the hotel is closed due to COVID restrictions. Wales is mostly in lockdown. The trip did not take place. I tried several times over the past few weeks to get through to Expedia to no avail. The hotel management tell me they also could not get through. I have used Expedia several time over some years, with no problems. A company stands or falls by its response to problems, and this response was no non-existent. I will not use Expedia again. But they keep coming back for more reviews, again & again.

Had a lovely stay. Staff are helpful and polite. The beds are amazing and sooo comfortable. Food is excellent value and prepared to a high standard. We will definitely stay again.

Great location for scenery, peace and quiet. Short drive to Llangollen. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, olde world feel. Recommended.

Has an interesting history. Near interesting places. Staff lovely. Would have been better if bed had been accessible from both sides, but very comfortable. Enjoyed stay.

It was all very good, food, service, parking, would recommend it to people visiting the area!

Breakfast was excellent - Location is out of town and walking into town is difficult 3 miles on winding narrow road not lit and no footpath so you need to use a taxi service

The staff were super friendly but respectful and couldnt do enough.The bedrooms are spacious, clean and the bed was one of the best Ive slept in. Breakfast was plentiful and the dinners were top quality.

Can’t fault the Britannia Inn. Excellent service lovely friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for Ann and we were made to feel very welcome. We are planning a return trip very soon

Wonderful peaceful atmosphere, warm welcome, lovely food, and such a gorgeous setting.

Everything was good about this hotel.The only criticism i can make is that people these days dont give a damn about anybody but themselves and slam and crash around the hotel ,Without a thought for other guests.

In 21C expected. wifi.What is the point of having a sky box in the room if you can't get Sky tv.Breakfast ok ,but greasy, would have preferred to see yoghurt and fresh fruit. Eggs tasteless

It was an old and interesting building but was in need of some attention-wallpaper om ceiling was peeling off, support of shower needed repairing. it was rather a pokey room.
